Hi to all , what do you think about using olive oil instead of margerine , butter and other oils ,
my personal review is that it is one of the most healthier oils on the market to use in the kitchen , i would like to illuminate you on the benefits of olive oil , raw is the best on salads , and frying is very expensive , but you regain that in health, did you know that olive oil has a tempereture supperiore to the most of oils that while frying does not create the so called toxins that are harmfull to us , think about and let me know your comment or response , greetings bignik

Olive oil is the only oil people here in Greece would use for everything as it is freshly produced here with the people picking their own olives. They put it on everything, on top of salads, on top of cheese, dip the bread in it, serve fresh olives in it, cook with it. It tastes delicious, especially the first tasting from the olive press when it is a rich green colour. It is definitely considered the healthiest oil.

Hi Bignic, I don't have any eating olive trees, just the olive oil producing ones which supply the most wondeful organic oil. This years harvest was a bad one though as we'd had little rain until it was too late and then a complete deluge which should give a head start to next years produce.

Hi jimsafty , i would like to give you a tip on cholesterol , you should try eating less meat, and more veggies raw , it helped me , so iam sure it will help you, if you save on buying less meat then you can get a bottle of olive oil , you only need a teaspoon or two for salads and if cooking about a tablespoon, 1 liter does go along way, greetings bignik

I've switched to Olive Oil too. It's a lot healthier substitute and better and more natural too. There are some meals that I still use vegetable oils since there is a fragrance to Olive Oil that mixes bad to some dishes but to everything else, I use it.
