and then the next day, you were saying that "Can I say something? I have not spoken for a whole day yesterday!". I have been once and must tell you that it was very boring experience and I wanted to talk about everyting the next day. Have you been?

oh yeah. i had a pretty rough childhood. I had many days I didn't speak a word. My dad said that when I was really young I went through some trauma, and I wouldn't talk to anyone for a long time. I've never had the need to talk alot after. Only if I wanted to talk, and there was no one there.

A little reserved person you are. Just like me 4 years ago. Now, I can talk to anyone anytime. Thanks to my last job at call center, where I needed to talk for continues 8 hours.

I think I have ,when you live alone you learn to be silent .However when I say silent ,I am excluding laughing and talking to myself lol. Those are necessary when you live by yourself. It is kind of boring but when the option is to have talkative annoying persons around you ,it might not seem so bad.Good discussion

Not for the whole day.But I had to be silent without any talks in long train journeys. The experience was great for me as I saw my mind clear without thoughts the next day.Remaining silent, your mind speaks for itself and calm down itself and hence the freeness we feel. But I haven't tried it for a whole day.Cheers!

I have not ever been silent for one whole day in my life and I hope that does not happen because it would not be a good experience for me.

Yes, believe me it was not a good experience. I was silent on a train journey. I was sleeping whole day. Didn't speak a word as I was travelling alone. The travel was of 1 and a half day.

My husband always asks me why I'm so chatty whenever I have the day off and he's been working all day. It's for this reason exactly! I find that being alone all day and not talking, the words just build up in my head waiting for someone to hear them :) On the other hand, there have been times where I was "in the zone" cleaning, getting stuff done, whatever, and I didn't talk allll day. Those times, when someone calls or comes over it's like I don't want to talk b/c I'm in the zone and don't want to break out of it :)

I was never silent for whole day that I did not utter a word. But there are days when I am very silent. I speak very very little. It happens very often. I talk less actually. If I am into something or tensed, I speak lesser.

Dear friend, No at all I would even talk to my self and may be I would break the silence with my own songs or voice. May be if it is a challenge then I could stay silent for the whole day. Still I hope it is difficult I may cougf, may squence, or may be with pain I may put some sound may those unavoidable one which comes out naturally may be could break the silence.

I'm selective mute....been silent a lot of whole days in my life. Not so much anymore. I worked really hard to communicate and open up....i'll tell you what...sometimes I wish I just stayed silent. ....probably others do too.
