I hate to see these headlines.. This allegiately happened at a juvenile detention center The victim was not forced but was a 14 year old girl.. If this happened this 29 year old man should be ashamed of himself These young people are troubled at best... How could he? xoxoxoxoxo http://www.poststar.com/articles/2009/02/24/news/local/14463700.txt

This is sooo sad. I hate to hear things like this because people working in law enforcement should try to uphold the law moreso than the people they are catching. This is just horrible to know that people work in juvenile centers like this. They are the next generation they are their for rehabilitation not to mess them up even more.

Hello Sweets Yes it is sad...Poor girl was most likely thinking she was getting nice attention and was being taken advantage of... Like she needed another example of that in her life!! xoxoxoxo

This basically needs to be treated with the same severity as they have the teachers who have been having relations with students.

Hi raydene! That is very irresponsible and wicked for a matured adult to do to a 14 year old girl. He should have been the one who would put perspective in the life of these young people and not be the one to take advantage of their vulnerability. I hope he will be prosecuted for this. take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

oh yes it does happen. My friend works for the social services, and workers work alone at night sometimes if they are short staffed and this is when these kinds of things can take place. They don't happen often but they happen.

I think the indictment is a no-brainer. Second degree rape, or at least, statutory rape. This is the same as teachers who take advantage of students. Here is a person in authority and, regardless of the consent, there is a line between the two.

That is absolutely horrible! Maybe not physically forced, but brainwashing someone into thinking that was the right thing to do is a form of force. Force isn't always physical. He tricked her into thinking that that was the right thing to do, and in a place that should have been SAVE for her! Some people are just pathetic!
