New group - Tinted Windows

Have you heard about this new group? It is a group of 4 guys from different bands. Lead vocals are performed by Taylor Hanson of Hanson, James Iha from Smashing Pumpkins is guitar, Adam Schlesinger on bass from Fountains of Wayne and Ivy, with drummer Bun E. Carlos from Cheap Trick.
It is an interesting group, thats for sure. They have a single called Kind of a Girl. What do you think of it?

I am afraid there is something cosmically wrong with Taylor Hanson and James Iha in the same band.... this can't be good. The music gods can not approve. How can they possibly?!?

I was initially shocked, but it doesn't sound bad...its just something different and will take some getting used to. They sound completely different than in their normal bands. From what I understand they do not intend to stick together but this is a side project for them. One thing about it, it is unique.
