Friend who likes to control, anyone ever have?

I have a friend, whom lm very close since from childhood, too. But, she got one weird character that makes me scared to make friend with her. When lm close with her, she will always asked me, how many friends l have? And always likes to remind me, not to forget her and always asked lm close to who. Luckily, now she had moved to overseas. But, we still keep in touch as friends, only not so close. lm really scared to have a friend, who likes to control everything that l do. How about you?

Well probably your friend is scared of losing the closeness that she shares with you to someone else, she seems to be a person who maybe lacks self confidence (no offense intended, please). I think that one day she'll get over with it and maybe your relationship will grow to be a lot, lot better. Life's Lovely! Love & Live Life! Live & Let Live!

Yes, indeed our relationship still lasting until now. As i know, she is a kind of a jealous type person. But, she is indeed a very friendly and kind person and always a friend with lots of confidence. Thanks for your respond....

yeah i have a friend like tht n somtimes she realy hurts me cuz evertiem we r talkn she wants the upper hand n she goees thru her mood swings n all but if i says somtehing then she starts actin up n wht not :( it really hurts happy lottin and have a nice day

Yes, sometimes indeed it is sad to see that we had this kind of friend around us. Actually, it is just a habit that some of them sometimes don't even realized it themselves. Hope you have discussed it patiently with her to solve it.

At times a person asks questions out of curiosity, but some people take it as a person trying to control them and become scared. But yes friends are possessive at times, in school I had a friend she never used to let me talk to others and if I did she used to be annoyed and tell, why are you talking to me go and talk to other person. Somehow that is really annoying.

If a person asked me question out of curiosity, i don't mind. In fact, i always came across that kind of person. But, i really don't enjoy having annoying friend though.

I still have that kind of friend who seems to be over protective of me and even want to decide how I should treat my husband and everything.

Hi, I agree... Take my example,Friend turned into Wife-30 years back! still keeps everything Under her control...(including cheque book)? Who will tolerate?I've no other friend...otherwise..hihi!! =Lahiri,Kolkata,India.
