Damaged Hair

Back in college, I used to blow dry my hair every single morning. But now, I'm beginning to think it was a mistake since my hair has become noticeably dry. Are there any products I can use to redeem this?

uhm yeah, at the momment im using dove intense damage therapy shampoo and conditioner, it's for accumulated damage, along with dove daily moisture therapy replenishing mist. i also use neutrogena tripple moiture deep recovery hair mask, it leaves your hair soft and silky, it treats dry, over processed and color treated hair. pantebe pro v nourishing nourrir moisture repleneshing mask. motions at home nourish leave in conditioner spray. blue dutches soft and shiny oil sheen and comb out for extra dry hair and blue dutches oil moisture vitamin enriched hair lotion conditioner. it all works eally well. you also want to try home made hair masks, they work well, and it's all natural and you know exactlly whats going in your hair. pure mayo is good for your hair, to add moisture to it, because of all the oils in it. yes the mayo you put in your sandwich. put it into dry hair, all over and let it sit for as long as you want or can, it may smell funny and feel weird, but believe me it's a pay off. let me know if you want to know any more. message me or something yeah?? hope it helped

haha yeah, thats what i told my mom, and it works really well. i didn't want to put it in my hair. i have curly and wavy hair, it's the mix of both. my hair has never been dry really, but i started bleaching and dying my hair, adding heat to it, so it was dried out, but righ now it's alot better, i even restored the shine in my hair.

:) Olive oil and mayo are both good natural remedies that work very well. There are also a few more natural products you can use to repair and prevent damaged hair which work very well too. I have waist length hair and my ends can get very dry and I have found that some of these natural treatments work better than anything else. Here is a link to an article I wrote containing the recipes and instructions for natural hair conditioners and moisturizers.... http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1624632/natural_ways_to_moisturize_and_condition.html?cat=5 Check it out! I hope it helps!! Have a great day!! :)

I used to take regular olive oil and add it to my hair after washing it (you don't have to wash it though) and then blowdry it to let the oil soak in..that would keep it from getting dry...you can also use this stuff called Infusium 23..there is a leave-in conditioner that is real good for dry hair..

Thanks for sharing ScarletAlston... But I don't know what is Infusium 23? Is that a leave-on hair conditioner? Okay maybe I'm gonna try that out. Thanks and have a happy MyLotting my friend :)

They have a shampoo, conditioner, leave-in, and all that. It is a full line of products under Infusium. They base the leave-in around heat damage. I know a lot about that...good luck with your hair!
