Taking care of an old grandparent

My grandmother fell down and has to be confined to the bed now. Basically, my mother and I split the job of taking care of her such as feeding, bathing, changing her diapers, etc. It's a tough job that requires patience. Has anyone had a similar experience of caring for an ill family member and basically doing all their daily living activities for them? I could use some shared experiences.

I have similiar experience but it's just few days,so I don't feel that tough,but I could totally understand how tough it is for you right now.there must be some one to take care of your old grandmother as she is confined to the bed.you could also hire someone to take care of her when you guys are on duty if you have to earn some money through your work.ir's hard but this is the time that you paid your grandmother back for her cares of you guys. good luck to you and your grandmother

I currently don't have any employment since I'm still waiting for my job application to be processed so I'm available the whole day. You're right it is time I paid her back for her kindness :)
