Oh goodness if I had a penny for everytime I did something like that I'd be a very rich lady! I think I have a ghost that lives in my house and like playing practical jokes on me!

It always happened to me whenever I am in the office. You know when I am starting my daily work load at the office and I am so busy all of my things are in both ends of the table. Staplers, fasteners, journals and even phone I forget where it is place because papers and reports are everywhere only to find out it is in front of me. I don't know what will you call it, but I guess there is some explanations on part of our brain why it is happening. Maybe the signal of our blood to our brain is slow, we are currently finding the missing things and yet our brains is busy doing or thinking previous things or maybe the brain cannot read what that thing looks like. Do you get my idea? take care.

Yes, I have gremlins in my house who take things I was just using! So I scream at them to put it back, and they do when I turn my back. Seriously. As an example, I was using a pencil to mark my place on a cross-stitch chart. When it came time to mark my new progress (a few minutes later) it was nowhere to be found. It eventually showed up in an envelope on the other end of the couch.

My glasses love to play hide and seek, the trouble is when they are hiding and i am seeking i can't see enough to fine them. I need a button that will set my glasses ringing. But I would probably loose the button

That happens to my husband and I all the time. I am legally blind, and my husband is legally blind. I've been doing that kind of thing all my life, he is just new to losing things that are right infront of his face. LOL You should see the two of us together, trying to figure out where things are.

I can't tell you how many times I have done that. When I was a child and looking for something my grandmother would go and find it right away and tell me that if the object had teeth it would bite me, it was that close to me.

Ha ha ha... I did the exact same thing a couple of days ago. I heard my phone ringing and it was quite close but hunt as I might in all the usual places, I still couldn't find it. Then, it dawned on me!!! I had left it in my jacket pocket that I had been wearing the day before! Does that qualify as a Blonde Moment? lol Brightest Blessings my friend.

I must admit to having had this happen to me. I have now SUGGESTED TO MYSELF that it is just one of those things that happen as we AGE. I am going to call it "The Full Brain Syndrome." Allow me to explain. The "Full Brain Syndrome" happens because we have lived so long and our brains have been filling themselves with so much information that we have needed to do our day-to-day activities that there is not enough room to put anything that is not very important inside. Therefore, the little things, like, where did I put the phone? What did I do with my keys? Where is my pencil? These get disregarded because they are not important, at the time. The phone WILL keep on ringing until we find it, or the answering machine picks it up, then we are in the same boat as before, except now THE PROBLEM HAS BECOME OUR EXERCISE PROGRAM while we keep looking for it. My two cents on this subject.

Hi raydene! haha..How I wish I had a video so I caught that on tape! LOL! There was just this one instance where my husband was looking for his reading glass. He was getting irritated because he look in every corner of the house. He was so annoyed after an hour looking for it and by that time approached me and asked if I have used or seen his reading glass. He then further accused me of always organizing and putting his things on places that he don't know of. haha..I was smiling at him while he was really delivering those lines and the all the more he got irritated, thinking that I am the culprit of hiding his things. LOL! So I sweetly said, "No sweetheart, I didn't use your reading glass but I have seen it!"..To which he quickly snapped saying, "So where is it?"..To which I calmly replied, "Sweety, it is right on top of your head!" haha.. Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith
