No one ever thinks of the toothbrush that can be your enemy, that can give you diseases and make you qute sick.
The every day toothbrush that we use, leave in a glass, or put un a case where no air can get in..yiiiiiiiikess full of crawly germs just waiting for you to open your mouth!Did you know you should change your toothbrush once a month?
Did you know that you should never leave a toothbrush not protected?I have a toothbrush holder that I can put 4 in there so they are protected from germs in the air.
I put four new ones and I throw one out everymonth.
I also disinfect my toothbrush with peroxide.
People just rinse their toothbrush and go thinking they have a fresh mouth..ya..... full of fresh germs!!!Oral hygene is extremely important ..so we brush our teeth OUR TONGUE, our gums and then just rinse and put it in a glass, most of the time so it is exposed to all the germs in the air.
Think about it before you put your toothbrush in your mouth..are there germs smiling and clapping their little grimy hands..screaming with joy that they will get into your mouth then have a field day in your body!!!Disinfect,put in a appropriate tooth holder and throw out once a month.

ewww, make me sick. i didn't know that one's toothbrush like that could get germs all over it like that. duh. is that why that the right side of my gums are swollen up today and aching like that they are doing? as soon as i got off work this afternoon, i couldn't wait to get home to take care of my mouth. i rinsed with peroxide as soon as i ran up the stairs. i couldn't wait to get to the bathroom fast enough to grab that brown bottle of peroxide. i am heading here in a second after that i respond to your discussion to rub some ambesol (i haven't any idea how to spell that) on my gums. i need to get four new toothbrushes and also a toothbrush holder for everybody in the family. thanks so much for sharing with us all around here at Mylot about the toothbrushes having all kinds of germs on them like that. that is gross. do you know any home remedies other than the peroxide and the ambesol to make your gums quit the hurting? thanks for sharing.

I thought it would be something to share because when I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth this morning, I checked my tooth brushes and one was okay but a little stiff..so I threw both out..and then I thought..hey many people don't think that a small thing like a tooth brush could be lethal..full of germs etc.
Well, what you are doing is fine..but do verify your teeth and see if they are not any plaque on them..plaque will cause pain. Also you must not brush hard either.
Check if you don't have infection. Yes your tooth brush may be the cause. I get them at the dollar store and also keep some in case I have a guest..then I throw it out.
Rinsing ones mouth every day with salt..is very good.
Excellent to get a tooth brush holder. I have had mine for years ..don't forget to clean it also..lolllll.
But get one that is covered..mine is plastic with a liftable clear plastic cover. I screwed in the wall. Don't get one that has no cover.
Yes each person should have their own so they don't spread any germs to the other tooth brushes. Put their names on it so they don't put in the wrong one. It's worth it..saves us alot of diseases that we wonder where in the heck I got this!!!!

it's been several months ago since i was last at the dentist. i need to find myself a good affordable dentist around here where that i live. the last dentist that i went to wanted to cut all four of my wisdom teeth out the same day, and she already had me in pain when i had none going on that day and i didn't even go in there that day to see the dentist for pain, i went in to see the dentist for a partial that i am in need of. that is why that i never smile big in any of my pictures right now is because of my very ugly teeth.

when was the last time you had your teeth cleaned? You may be due and would be a good idea to have your teeth checked if the pain doesn't go away.
But do get new tooth brushes soon. dollar store is great as it doesn't pain to throw them away..but better to throw away then have to pay the doctore and medication..

Yeah and can you imagine they are in the bathroom and all the people that poo and pee in there Yuck! This is making me sick thinking about it. Thanks. LOL! I will certainly start changing my toothbrushes out more often.

Yes, you shower, you sneeze, you wash your hands etc and all that flies on the toothbrush so imagine all what u r putting in your mouth waaaaaaaaaaaaakkkkk..makes me want to throw up!
It takes just a few minutes to rince properly ..disinfect with peroxide..you can put some in a small spray bottle..so you spray and put away..
Some times it's a small thing like a tooth brush that makes eveyone sick and no one thinks about that..
