Call me insane, but I think a lot more books should be made into movies. I think it would be smart to make some books into movies, especially if they are really popular. What do ya'll think? And which books would you convert? My favorite books that I would love to see changed over are anything from Jude Deveraux, and a book called Butterfly. Butterfly would be so interesting to see. So, what are your favorites?

Idon't think they should make any book into a movie as they always ruin it! THe book and movie are so different, if you liked the book...you are dissapointed in the movie or it is so different that it is hardly even the same story, Current case in point - Nights in Rodanthe. I loved the book! Saw the movie and frankly, if I hadn't read the book, I might not have been able to figure out the movie. There was so much in the book that gave the emotion and structure of the story, that they didn't put in the movie to thepoint I was just like "eh, whatever". I mean the whole point of the story was that the mother told her story about her "nights in rodanthe" to her daughter who was kind of going through a smilar situation and she thought it woudl help her daughter (who was married, 3 kids and widowed) but in the movie her daughter was a teenager. No, keep the books seperate from the movies!

I would like to see Kim Harrison's witch books become a movie or tv series the same with Patricia Briggs werewolf novels or Laurell K Hamilton's vampire novels. I also think the Friday Night Knitting club would make a good movie.

I'd love to see Ann McCaffreys The Dragon Riders of Pern series. They'd make a great movie or miniseries.

I would like to see movie about the Subway, a book written by new Russian author Dmitrij Gluhovskij. It is a really fascinating book. I read it last autumn, and I could not think about anything else but the book and the life in the subway. It tells about some major atomic explosion in Russia. Some people who have survived, moved to the subway, because it was impossible to live on the surface. The mysteries of the underground life are really thrilling. I remember one night I could not get to the toilet room, because I was afraid of some zombies in my room =D I heard that the rights to make a film have already been sold.. So hope to see this movie soon ;)

Think we should have a few more movies from "The Vampire Chronicles" Written by: Anne Rice. The last one "Queen of The Damned" was never justified in anyway. So therefore there should be another.. "Memnoch The Devil" .. Furthermore, I believe that Lurell K. Hamilton should have movies based from her series "Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter." And they should base a movie on "Epicure" H.R. Howland. They would all make excellent Box Office Hits.
