Are you one of those people who don't mind using apublic toilet, or one who will hold it in until you get home? I don't mind using CLEAN public toilets, but if they are dirty, I will just hold it. I knew a woman who would hold it for hours and hours before she would use a public toilet. I am talking 4 to 6 hours!! I thought that she was a bit weird myself, I mean, why put yourself through the agony? So, I ask all of you, do you use public toilets?

I'll use if I really can't hold it anymore, not that 4 to 6 hours of coz. I can't hold that long!! And I don't think that is healthy to do that as well. Else, I will try not to unless the toilet is clean.

Hey there! Yeah, I do use public toilet. It's good that most, if not all, of the public toilets that I've used to answer nature's call was clean. They provide toilet paper, water, and soap. As much as possible I will not hold it. It can cause kidney stones. Have a nice day. Happy posting!!

I try not to, unless it's really, really urgent, or I know the toilets are clean, like in hotels and some shopping outlets that I've been to before. The worst thing is during a long journey, and I have to go - really no choice but to stop in at a public R&R and hope that it's clean!

I don't mind using the public toilet as long as its clean and it smells good.. but if it's dirty, maybe i'll just look for a cleaner restroom somewhere else.. i'm not allowed to hold my urine longer because i've got UTI.. my doctor has prescribed me to take some meds to cure it and i'm really hoping that it's cured already..

I visit public toilets if I really have to. I don't like the feeling of retaining it. I might get Urinary Tract Infection if I frequently retain it. Sometimes, I don't have a choice. You don't really the liberty to choose clean public toilets if you can't hold it in much longer.

I am disabled I need handicapped stalls they are always in use by someone that could use any stall in the bathroom but they head straight for the handicapped stall. I carry sanitary wipes to clean seats before I transfer. if I can not get into the stall after 10 min. I clean a regular stall seat and rim and transfer right onto the rim facing the tank or flusher. this is out of spite and to get the job done, but I do clean the rim again if I leave anything on the rim. I have to admit when it is hot out there is nothing like a couple of flushes on a cool rim. as for the latter part I cant wait very long I am forced to use any toilet that is offered anywhere. I also will not do business with any business that has a sign on the door "no public restroom" This is a BASIC need of life not a right to deny.

hi lynnemg...when possible i hold it. even have wondered if i was gong to make it home in time. hehe. i find the public ones very unpleasant to me. but i have used them and was glad they were available. now i had a job in a warehouse where the ladies bathroom was horrible. cause a lot of female workers wouldn't put the tp in the toilet. they thru it on the floor. i couldn't use the toilet for a while. i worked all day without using it and waited till i got home. it was going on 9 hours before i'd get home. i forget how many days it took for me to finally use the work toilet. but i did.

Guys are the lucky ones when it comes to public toilets, we stand up and pee into a wall mounted urinal, so if it s clean or not we suffer it. The girls I feel would suffer the most due to having to squat or sit to go. Note I would only use a public toilet to pee .....home to poop....
