I have seen a lot of mylotters on here with stars beside their names... What are they and what are they for? Is this like a reward thing? Don't know if I need to add this to my goal list on here. Working my way to my first payout, so maybe a star in the future too?!?

Just keep making posts and you will get one. Also, the more people that rate your responses the higher or lower that star number goes. I am not sure at exactly what number post you get a star but you will eventually. It really doesn't mean anything though and doesn't affect your earnings.

But you HAVE got a star! It's got an '8' in it! I got one too - I thought everyone here did, like when you get 10% for being able to write your name at the top of a GCSE exam paper. (Or 30% at Art degree level)

You will also get it when you reach 100 post. The number in the star indicates the mylot reputation. So keep on giving quality of posts such that you get the higher number.

I think it is a reward thing. It is kind of measure of the quality of your posts. I obtained the star after I reached 100 posts. I started with 7 stars and now it becomes 8 stars. I have a friend that she can reach 9 stars after just 170 posts. She mentioned that she tends to make more interesting discussions so that people reply and participate to her discussion.
