Would You Go Out For A Blind Date?

A blind date is part of growing up, discovering yourself---what you really are. It's exciting and interesting. All around, you see your friends cuddling up their special someone to warm up the coldness of the rainy season duhhhhh.... Your group of friends decides to set you up on a blind date, hoping to match you up with someone you'd be interested in. You never really believed in blind dates but there's nothing to lose if you give it a shot. Do you think it's safe? Would you go out for a blind date even if you don't totally known this person at all? I heard from the television news that this young girl had a blind date but was pissed off because her wallet was gone. Sad but true :( Any remarks on this is highly appreciated. Thanks and have a happy MyLotting to all you guys out there!!!

It depends on how much you trust your friends. I am pretty sure that your friends also thought about your safety in dating with that mystery date of yours if they are that concerned about you. Well I guess its a thrilling moment for girls being set for that kind of a date. Well for those that have had bad experience about their blind dates well I guess you just have faith that yours would not meet the same fate. Good luck and hope you'll enjoy your date with him.

I wouldn't mind going on a blind date as long as it was set up by a mutual friend. This way I know that at least my friend trusts him. Whether or not anything develops from the blind date is a little hit or miss for me.

I would love to. No matter what the date would look but at least i would get a date finally. Yes, I didn't get a date till date and I don't think that I would get one in my life. I am getting old day by day and loosing confidence too. May be my wife will be my first "blind ;)" date

I may if I was desperate and If I knwo my friends ,the people who ar setting me up really know me and would make a good choice. It would also be good if the person I am going to meet is aware of the fact that this might not work and that all we are going out to do is have fun, that way the date is likely to end on amicable terms even if we dont want to see each other again. These dates may end badly if the two persons want and expect different things.I may try it however. I tell you a story that has helped to change my mind about the blind dates. My two friends have always wanted to hook me up with a girl and I have always resisted.I then went online on this social networking site and guess who I found ,the very same girl who I resisted .You could imagine my surprise when she asked me about my friends

Oh really? That sounds so strange after all ronnyb but I'm sure if God would allow you both then probably, you both deserve another try. Anyways, thanks for sharing here with us and have a nice day my friend ;)

I had never accepted any blind date in the past much more now. I find it ridiculous and weird.

I've only ever been on one blind date, and that was enough for me haha. It's kind of hard to say no when friends set you up like that. If a friend ever insisted again, I'm sure I would do it only if it was to be a double-date with them & their boyfriend along too.

i personally think that there is nothing wrong with going out with people you don't know as long as you have connections and at least one of your friends knows the guy really well. friends don't just set their friends up with someone who is a total stranger.
