I've seen a few people that can raise one eyebrow at a time. I can't figure out how to do this. I think it takes a lot of concentration to do. How about you? Are you able to raise one eyebrow at a time?

I am not able to do that. I can blink both my eyes one at a time, but I can not raise one eyebrow at a time. I have no muscle control at all!

I have always been able to raise an eyebrow. It never really took much effort for me to do that. And when used at the right moment, can get the point across. lol I guess some can just do it 'naturally' and others have to really work at it, I never really thought much about it.

I can raise the left one alone, but I can't do it with my right eyebrow without the left going up too.

Yes, I can raise one eyebrow at a time. I've always been able to do it and from what I understand, it's part of just about every look I tend to give people when they amuse me or frustrate me or whatever. I'm not sure how I do it but I don't really have to think about it. I just do it.

Hi Shar19.. Yes of course I can. When I was in grade school, I was like you that wondering how some people could raise one eyebrow only. I felt so envy to some of my friends who can do it. So what I did, everytime I had a chance to see myself in the mirror I held one of my brows while the other one I tried to raise it. Alas! I guess a month after I was able to raise one eyebrow only. It became my habit then.

Smiley brow - The ability to raise one eyebrow
Nope, I have never been able to raise one brow, I can't wiggle my ears either. My husband and kids can though, so can my dad and brothers.

Yes, but I had to go look in the mirror to see if I could. I've never been asked about that before. I can't wiggle my ears, I've been asked about that.

Hey there Shar19 I can't do it either and I think it is one of things you can either do or you just can't like winking, curling your tongue or even whistling! We have a commercial on tv at the moment for Cadbury Chocolate where these two kids do like a dance with their eyebrows in time with this really fast music. I will see if I can find a link to it on youtube! Ah yes here it is - check it out it's really funny! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVblWq3tDwY

I can, but I can't . I have seen myself do it, but if I try to do it voluntarily I can't seem to do it. My eyebrows won't budge one at a time. It is weird, cause I know they can do it without me thinking about it. Somehow I have to figure out how to make the same expression voluntarily, if that is possible.
