Are you happy with the Name you were given at birth? Do you sometimes think about changing it to a different name? I'm happy with my name, it's "Monica" and I think my parents picked a good name for me.

Well, I don't like my name that much.. but I am not thinking also of changing it myself.. only my friends are changing it.. hahah maybe they feel it too long to pronounce my name so, they find ways to call me in a short way. Bebs is a short cut of my nick name. I don't know why my parents pick a long name for me..

Hello Monica! I like your name too! My name is Leslie! And I don't like my name at all! I hate it! I have never like it! I tell my mother this all the time! She is 79 now and I still tell her! But, her name is Rhoda and she hates that so what can I say?

I take Leslie over Rhoda any day. What's wrong with Leslie?

I've always liked my given name, Brenda. My mother named her 5 daughters with names which started with the letter B, and I think I got the best of them all, which I think was lucky being the third in order. I was also given HER middle name, which makes me special! My other sisters are Bonnie, Barbara, Beverly and Becky!! (I have a brother Charles, too, but he was named for our grandfathers, first and middle names, both.)

My aunt did the same thing with Danny, Donna, Denise and Darrell and then my daughter did also with Aliyah, Amiya and Adalyn. Poor Adalyn had 4 names for several days before she decided!! She was even taking votes for a while from those who visited the hospital room, but I do think the final choice was her own and had nothing to do with the voting.

I think it's fun when all the kids names start with the same letter.

I like the name Monica. I'm okay with my name too. It's Jenny Rebecca. Alot of people mistake it for a nickname for Jennifer but it's not. I do have to explain to people alot when filling out forms and such. Neither one of my naames hold any special story or origin. My mom just liked it I guess.

Yes I am happy with my name and it is derived from the Greek word Nike or aniketos meaning the invincible or bearer of victory. I think it is a great name and is better than most of them, I am glad I wasn't named something silly. Some of them at college had names that of the other gender and the funny part is when they used to be put with girls during the lab classes. Have a nice day

In my country, someone think the name sometimes will affect the destiny. So many people to change their name after consulted with special person. Now when a baby was born, the parents often take this baby's birth date to special person to got a good name. All the parents wish their babies have a good life.

sure. happy with it. My real name's katrina. nickname's kate - for short. i've read somewhere that my name actually means "pure" - which i definetely am NOT. LOL. HAHA. i know a lot of people with uncommon names, it sounds cool to have such names. I have a friend her name is bunny, it's cute, as in bugs bunny. but i'm just thinking that when she gets old, it's kind of awkward for grandma to be called grandma bunny?? LoL..what do you think....

My name is "Mary". It's an ok name. There are some days where I don't even like my name and I wished my parents would name me something else.

Mary must be one of the most common names for women, nothing wrong with that though.
