hurt themselves, but this time, I could not help but laugh. We were delivering papers the other day and we had sent each boy to delever a few. They were trying to race each other, so, insted of paying attention o where they were going, they were watching to see where the other one was. I drove a head a little so they would have to run about the same distance to get back to me, just to make it fair. I glanced out my driver's side window and saw one boy limping back to the van, then, I looked out he other window and saw the other boy also limping back to the van. I started to giggle a little because I knew that they were racing and had evidentally stubbewd their toes or something. When they got in the van, it was a tie between the two, I said, "What did you guys do, stub your toe on a step?" My younger son said, "No. I ran into a tree because I was watching him." Then, my oldest son said, "Yeah! Well, I tripped over a stump in the ground." Now, I was laughing, it was just too funny for me not to. Then, my oldest pointed out the stump he tripped over and this thing was at least two feet out of the ground, so it wasn't one he would normally miss. That made me laugh all the more. Like I said, normally I do not kaugh when my kids hurt themselves, at least not where they see me laugh, but this was just too funny! Have you ever laughed at your kids when they hurt themselves?

That is a funny story, I think once our children pass the age when they cry everytime they get hurt it can be funny. Unless they have seriously injured themself's then it's not so funny.

I think that even when they are still at the stage to cry each time they get hurt, sometimes it can be funny. It just depends on the situation. My daughter still tends to cry when she gets hurt, but a lot of times, she has fallen because she was running through the house and the floor was slick. She isn't really hurt, she is just startled, so she cries for a minute. Of course, if any of my kids were to be seriously injured, I wouldn't find it very funny. At that point, I would just want to make sure they were taken care of.

I've chuckled a few times when my little guy hasn't been paying attention to what he's doing and trips up. Though, I'm sure he's laughed at me too when I've done something silly because of not paying attention. I think the best one was when I told him to be careful on my bed and not to jump-so what does he do? Jumps and lands head first against the bedroom wall. He just did this head shake like "Well?".

That is funny. It sounds like your son is as actived as mine are. I remember one time, they were real young, they were jumping on a bed and ended up kicking out a window! I was thankful that no on efell out of it, and not too worried about the window at all at that point!

They were only hurt for a little while. I think that tripping and running into things is far less harmful than the wrestling around that they like to do with each other.
