Tonight I have a headache. Most of the time I only have some sinus pressure but not a real headache. My father lived to be 84 and said he never had a headache in all of his life. Usually when I get a headache which isn't very often I find the next day I have the beginnings of a very bad cold! So do you get alot of headache? Or are you one of the lucky ones that doesn't suffer through many?

I get sinus headaches, and I get caffeine withdrawal headaches. Earlier today I had a headache that was a combination of the two. I do not get them all that often, but when I do get them I am miserable. I hope you don't wind up with a nasty cold when you wake up in the morning.

The headache is gone but it was replaced by a runny nose....so I was right...usually I get a cold right afterwards! Hope you are feeling better now too!

Those who never suffer any headaches are really luck. I'm envious of them. I must admit that I can often get a headache with the fairly frequent migraine. It's really not pleasant. I just hated it when those headaches or migraines come. They can come at the worse possible time. They do, in my case, which is really annoying. It's just frustrating. If you never have to suffer from a headache or a migraine, you are a really lucky person, in my opinion.

I am one of the lucky ones who seldom gets a headache. My son when young used to get them really bad and come to find out his was migraine and triggered by allergies. My youngest daughter gets migraines really often and doctors haven't figured out yet what causes hers.

Hello jillhill! Yes I frequently have headache, almost everyday I think. It happened to me during every night, after I went to work. Maybe because of the computer, I spend most of my time looking at the computer, I can also say that it is also because of the weather, it frequently change every hour.

Well when I am at work and the job is a little bit stressful I do get those mini headaches. I call them mini since the pain is rather tolerable and I really do not need any medication to have it relieved. I do have a few occasions that I have major headaches and if ever I have that I usually am going to be sick like what you've said from a simple cold to becoming a full-blown flu.

I think you remember me speaking of my migraines. I started getting them when I was eight years old. At eighteen, after a severe car wreck, they became worse. Today is my birthday (28) and I woke up with a headache. I was praying, please Lord, don't let me get a migraine today! And He didn't. I am migraine free and having a good 'ol time. By the way, when you get a sinus headache, I find that aromatherapy bags are very helpful. I lie down and place the bag over my eyes and it does wonders.

Hey jillhill. Hope your headache is gone by now. Also, I hope you didn't get the cold that you've grown to expect after a cold. I don't have very many headaches. When I do, it's usually related to not drinking enough water (i.e. dehydration). Once in a great while I get what I think is a sinus headache, but that is rare. Take care.

Yes...it's gone. I agree with the dehydration thing...even when I had the flu...I started feeling much better as soon as I started drinking water.

Hey Jill! What incredible timing! I am sitting here mylotting with one of the worst headaches that I've had in a very long time! It might be a sinus headache because I do have a sinus infection. But, it started out because I was having an arguement with my boyfriend and it just kept getting worse. Now it is so bad I can hardly see straight! It is now a tension headache mixed with a sinus headache! I also get migranes and so far, at least I don't think it is one, at least not yet! I am to the point where I need to take something for it and get off the computer!

I suffer several headaches depending upon my mood. When I have mild to severe ones, sometimes pressure-induced and somtimes I have to take in meds , sometimes not. One colleague of mine never took in meds for his headaches and he could overcome it. Headaches can be derivd even from food like nitrites from hotdogs and ham...those preserved foods that we eat almost everyday...Hope your headache goes away soon, have a blessed weekend.

Lucky for those who never suffered a single headache all their lives. I am a frequent migraine sufferer. And I think it got me addicted to painkillers. I basically live with medications for that. I take 2 tablets of 400mg ibuprofen to stop it - for the worst cases. But sometimes that just doesn't work anymore and at times I don't know what else does. So just try my best to go to sleep...

i too get headaches frequently, i get headache easily when i expose myself to heat and when its very warm in the room. I cant bear heat, all i do when i get headache is take a saridon tablet, what can i do more? i dont know of other ways and i cant bear the pain also. during sleep if someone switches on the light i get headache easily, because the light in my room makes the room very hot and as this is summer i dont have a cooler even, so u know, i jst dont know what to do. i wish i get rid of headache completely.

I do get frequent headaches, and occassionally migraine headaches. Regular headaches are uncomfortable for me, but when I get a migraine, it can be downright scary becausew I get what are called hemiplegic migraines. When I gert these, they often make it look like I am having a stroke. I was even rushed to the hospital, by ambulance at one pont, this is how I got yhe diagnosis. It was a pretty scary situation, but at least I know what is going on when it happens.

Tell you an effectual method to stop headache.Open your mouth as big as you can,to drive your jaw bone, twist your face(such as frown,round-eyed,be out of the shape of your face skin),and you will find the headache getting less.

i usually suffer from headache and i really hate migraine! especially when its summer, i had a frequent migraine because of the hot weather. i avoid taking meds and usually i just ask my mom to massage my temples or wherever in my head down to the back of my neck. sometimes, i just take a bath and use cold water, i don't know but for me sometimes it helps. =)
