Do You Challenge Yourself?

Do you challenge yourself? Do you push yourself farther and try harder inlife or do you take the easier route? I am one who likes a challenge. I rise to a challenge and push myself as hard as I can just to meet that challenge. If I am told that I CANNOT do something, I will do it just to prove that I can. What about you?

I think we all need to challenge ourselves daily. I try to challenge myself intellectually on a daily basis by what I choose to read. Currently I'm reading two books, Tainted Truth and Dematerializing. They both challenge what I thought, so I have to reflect within myself what I believe and disbelieve. I also challenge myself physically through belly dancing and yoga.

I like to challenge myself. I like to know that I can do anything I set my mind to, and to prove it to myself, not just think it! Sometimes if I don't feel like trying, all I need someone to do is tell me I'm being lazy and I automatically am motivated to do my very best!

Hi there! I really have this bold personality who loves challenges and just can't take no as an immediate answer. Yeah, I like to challenge myself but of course not to the extent of living a hard life because of them. I strive hard in my responsibilities in life but I also have time to ease up --- for sanity's sake.

Yes I challenge myself and push sometimes I am hard on myself for not working harder toward my goals and I knew I should of and could of. I am oh you think I cant too ok then watch me and eat my dust kinda of person too. Although growing up I was told and encouraged to dream and set goals and make the plan of action to achieve them and that I hold the power in my mind to do or be anything I so desired. So I dreamdt and started venturing out to accomplish and became labeled amongst my brothers and sisters and few outsiders alike as being different kind of breed and that i would go far in life... its all in what we believe, it's not oh I believe that when I see it ~ but you must first see it then believe it.

I always challenge myself. i set goals for myself from time to time. And I'm very competitive too so sometimes I want to beat my previous record/s. This is a good way to motivate myself into doing things. Sometimes I push myself to do things better than the way I did before or than how others do it. And I really get a lot of satisfaction knowing that I was able to do it.

Sometimes I do. But not all times because I have a low tolerance. Like for example there's something I need to achieved. But I know it's difficult, sometimes through the journey I just give up on that thing. I lost the challenge.

I always liked to put myself to the test and to accept challenges that could be of any help for self-improvement. I'm much happier and this way, than to have taken the easier path. I feel like I've gained a lot of things by having this attitude towards life... things like being able to appreciate most things around me and realize that life itself is a wonder.

I don't like to challenge myself. I just want to do what I have the capability to do. It make me still a normal person and my friends who always challenge themselves have a good promotion in their life. I want to change this sitution. This is a challenge to me.

Hi, I think the difference between DOING & NOT DOING is only the Mindset. Mind decides-Perform or Not.So,if challenge is not given to Mindset-there will be no Performance.think of the challenge of a Blind to reach Mt.everest,or a disabled to cross Panama canal. The amount & way of challenge given internally(mind) will determine the roadmap and Excellence in Performance. =Lahiri,Kolkata,India.

That really depends, doesn't it? I mean, I enjoy and appreciate the tanquility and peace that is to be found in reliable stable routine. However, if there is a goal i need, then I push for it.

I really don't like the easy way sometimes. Sometimes I get pretty frustrated because it seems like everyone else is getting the easy way in life and that bugs me when I have to constantly work hard for all of the things that I own or for all of the things that I want in life. However, I do like challenges. I like knowing that I've worked hard for something and accomplished it. But sometimes it would be really nice to actually not have to work hard for something.
