Why cant women put on mascara with there mouth closed

I noticed it long time ago, and frankly, it is quite funny. I just can't let others would have seen my mouth opening to put my mascara on, so I put on my mascara with my mouth closed. It is not a difficult at all.

This is great... We all do this at one time or another, I sometimes have to remember to stop myself... Because i'm saying wtf, close your mouth lol. I think maybe its in our minds that if we open our mouth our eyes will open wider. who knows... :]

Yeah thats a thought, even i put on mascara with my mouth closed, but most of frendz dnt. Once my frend was puttin on mascara with her mouth open, and i remind her to close it, she tries her level best, and still her mouth opens, the next time, she says she will try even harder. I see her mouth still open, but her lips together covering her mouth.LOL!

I actually noticed that before and trained myself to close my mouth. Now I don't open my mouth anymore when I put on my mascara. I think it's trainable *laughs*.

hehehe never i find it really funny i never seen anyone opening thier mouth and applying the mascara its really weird...lol but i never remember i even did it whenever i apply it its a thing of habit may be some people got this habit similar to some people who never close theirs lips if they put on gloss on lipsticks lol its really so fishy about it

For me it depends. I'll catch myself with my mouth open and think to myself why is my mouth open when I am doing this and "correct" myself by closing it. I have noticed the same thing with women and I believe they even had something on tv at some point about it as well. I would say it had something to with muscles but then again when you see makeup artist doing a female's makeup they don't have their mouth open applying nor is the female's mouth open when its being applied.
