I love Steel Magnolia's because I not only cry but I laugh as well. It gets me everytime. Another great one is Pay It Forward. I love, love, love that movie. It gets me everytime too. If you wanted a simply happy, upbeat movie that makes you feel good all the way through though try Where The Heart Is.......

I always cry at sad movies, its a wonderful life, beaches (bette midler), even Bambi. Its nice watching with the children because they always laugh at me, saying look at mum again, silly thing!

The final scene of "The King And I", (the Yul Brynner version), is one that always wrings a tear or two. "Pay It Forward" is another, as someone else mentioned. "The Green Mile" is another. smiles, ink

Im a movie maniac for based on true story movie. Everytime im going to watch movies, i will look for the stamp "based on true story". I do like comedy and romantic movie but never for horror- its frustated me and nothing to learn in such non fiction crazy story with ghost and unimportant things that applicable in life. Its just haunted you and make life miserable and i hate such feeling. Among the based on true story movie my favorite is pursuit to happyness. I do like 21 movie, but I love movie PURSUIT TO HAPPYNESS because the content is too strong and honest. The story always makes me think positive about life that everything always difficult at the beginning and never never give up because its just the begin of the success... Its also tackle about law of attraction from the secret book which inspired me so much. I love this movie because the actress and actors also completely and seriously acting and put themselves in such dramatical and logical story line. Everything is really good in causal and reason effects. And follow the story from the beginning up to the end, always give such a deep impression for me.I like all the parts, that this story tackle about how to survive... with money as the only one problem to solve... despite has money, but still want to enjoy life as well... living in such condition, in tears and sweats... life is terrible hard and squeze you hard. You seemed has no oxygen to breath, but you think that you can accomplish your life with something wonderful at the end of time. And all i can say, life without dreams is nothing. Because having dreams will give you the energy to wake up and run towards you dream, even everytime you feel that you're hopeless, the purple line seems obvious and make a line for you and it will guide you towards your dream. This is wonderful movie that i ever watched. When you feel down, watch this movie... and you will know that life is only about learning to survive and how you to have positive thinking about it. Have a nice day

oh yes. sometimes when i'm just frustrated and not know how or where to vent it, i purposely watch soppy movies to force those tears out. A walk to remember is definitely one of them. Another is actually Roads on Rodanthe. There are also quite a few others, just can't name them off-hand now.
