In China, having a credit card or multiple cards has become a fashion. but in the meanwhile, a new generation is spawning ---- the card slave. After overdrafting wildly in shopping center, travelling and housing, some already begin robbing Peter to pay Paul. Are you one of them ?

I am in the U.S. but I do have some crazy credit card debt I am trying to get out from under. When you are 18, the credit card companies throw cards at you like crazy! If I didn't have the cash for something, I'd swipe the magic card. Now I am 26 and am still living with my parents trying to pay off all these cards so I can get married and buy a house. I am slowly but surely paying them off, but naturally with the recession my hours at work are cut back and it's tough to try and pay more than the minimum amounts! Argh! That's why I do the online money opportunites these days, I roll everything I make online over to the balances on my cards, even $5 helps!

im not one of them since i don't own a credit card and i have no plans of getting one cuz i know it spells trouble more likely than it spells convenience. it's easier to save money and spend less using a debit card since with this, it's much more easier to exercise control.

hi, you are so smart. the only benefit of a credit card, by my understanding is to encourage you spend money carelessly, don't feel you are spending money at all or feel like using other's money.

I lost track of how many credit cards I have. But I woke up to the truth just last year when I was able to make a record of all the cards I have, how much I owe in each one and how much interest I had to pay. Sadly, I woke up a bit too late and now have to work real hard to make sure that I get them all paid off as soon as possible. I don't want to be working to make others rich for the rest of my life. I already cut (physically) almost all my cards.

No I can really say no to this. I have learnt to make good use of credit cards and I would set a budget every month and not overspending it. For loans, I don't have any loans on me at the moment (thank God!) and I love my life to be financially in control *smiles*.

I used to be, but not now anymore! I'm so thankful! Now, I'm able to clear the balance every month. I earned reward points by using it as well as getting special discount in shopping or dinning.
