HI Friends...I have been away from mylot for a while now. Slowly trying to get back on here when time allows. With 5 boys, a restaurant, and life itself it is hard to juggle everything sometimes. Anyways, one of the last posts I made was announcing we were having another boy. Sure enough, he was born 10/7/08. A healthy 8 lb. 3 oz. baby! His picture is my avatar. When our baby was 4 days old our 17 yr old son came to us and announced he was having a baby with his girlfriend. That was a shocker for us considering we just had a baby and he was only 17 at the time. Anyways, he is now 18 and they got married the 23rd of Feb. The baby is due June 1st. I am excited because I am finally getting a little girl!! She will be one spoiled granddaughter!!Our restaurant has been slow the past couple of months so we have been going through some rough financial times. When you have a large household everyone suffers. We will get through it though. It seems as if everything wants to go wrong all at the same time too. Besides having money troubles our washing machine decides to break down too. We have 7 people in the house and I was already backed up on laundry as it was. So I got 2 new toys!! A brand new washer/dryer set. Of course they are rent to own, but they do one heck of a job. I cannot say enough about them. They are Whirlpool Cambrio's. They are huge...I can wash/dry 3 baskets full of laundry at one time. Needless to say, I spent 2 days on laundry and I am completely caught up. I washed every bit of clothes, blankets, towels, sheets, etc..etc...in the house. I have no more laundry to do until we pile some more up for a load. I hate doing laundry, but this new set brought me a new look on the laundry chore. I actually enjoy doing it now...lol Back in Nov. I lost my grandpa. He had been sick for quite a few years. He is now with the angels up above and I believe it is best for him. He is free of pain and no longer suffering. Then in Jan. we lost our 4 month old cousin to SIDS. That was really hard on me because we had our little guy whom was 3 mths at the time and I couldn't sleep for several weeks thinking it may happen to him. You never really think SIDS will happen to you until it does to someone close to you. Its an eye opener for sure! There you have it...my update on life. Hopefully things will start turning around here and I can get back to normal at least close to normal that is. Hope you all have a wonderful day and please update me on whats going on with you!
