My husband is an invalid and cannot get out of the house, he can use the walker, but that is about all. So once a month, he has decided to order in. But our choice is limited as i said in an earlier discussion. Now i do not drive so we have to get the pizza delivered. So what is the best pizza delivery place. I am not talking about speed, but in quality, the best made pizzas bare none, and we like variety. So come on, help me out so we know who to order the next time? It would be a change from Chinese and Kentucky Fried Chicken.

I don't know what you have there but I see you might have Domino's, Papa John's and Pizza Hut. Now, Pizza Hut used to be good but the past few years cardboard would taste better! I've never had Papa John's but have heard good things about it. I really like Domino's, I have that about twice a year and it's always very, very good! It arrives hot and still crispy and the drivers are very courteous.

I agree with your comment about Domino's that is why I prefer them to Papa Johns and Pizza Hut

I can look into Domininos. I have not tried theirs. Most of the time it has been Pizza Hut and another kind, that I did not like as well.

I didn't like them years ago, they were greasy and soggy. But I tried them again a couple years ago and it was delicious, not at all greasy and very crisp! I was in the restaurant at the time and remarked to the owner how it had improved. He took me into the kitchen and showed me how their ovens had improved and how their ingredients had gone from the cheaper stuff to better quality, and the precise procedures they'd adopted so that the pizzas were consistent. Then he gave us free breadsticks! I recommend Domino's to everyone, they really are trying to put out a quality product.

Pizza hut has great pizza and I know where I'm from they introduced new family pasta meals. Have yet to try those but they look really really good and don't cost a whole lot.

I like the idea of family pasta meals. Do not want to eat pizza all the time, but we do love lasagna.

I have not tried Papa John's. I will have to find if there is one here in Winnipeg but by the ways things are going, there probably will be if there is not one already.

I am not sure what you have in your area. I want to eat my pizza in person, but I bet your best bet would be some Individual type Pizza place, and not a chain.

Papa John's and Pizza Hut tend to be what I order most if I ever do have any take-out pizza. With Pizza Hut, the thin crust is best and I'll get either Pepperoni Lover's or Meat Lovers. At Papa John's, I either get Hawaiian or some sort of chicken bbq pineapple pizza thing. They're both pretty good.

I heard that Pizza Hut is good, I had pizza from there once. But I also heard it is a bit expensive and that kept us from going back. My daughter-in-law likes Boston Pizza and we were there twice, but do not know if they do delivery or if you have to go to pick it up all the time. I will have to check to see if there is a Papa John's here in Winnipeg. I do love thin crust pizza the best.

I don't know about the USA, but in Canada We have a wonderful place called Pizza Pizza. They have the best pizza in the world, and their wings are pretty good too. I like them because they take my debit card on delivery, and I don't have to worry about cash or credit Since Canadian debit cards are not affiliated with a Visa or Master card, they're harder to pay with sometimes, so for me Pizza Pizza is ultra convenient!

I heard that Pizza Hut does Lasagna and I love Lasagna. It also does macaroni and cheese and since I make a good one, I cannot see getting one, but lasagna takes a lot of preparation - as long as it does not taste like tomato soup over large noodles with canned cheap meat sauce.

I prefer Domino's pizza for quality and variety. I like the think crust to be really crispy and I do not always get it that way from other pizza places.

I really could not say which is the best in your part of the country.I would use a couple of them and pick the one i liked best & stick with them....I am sure they would all be edible but you will have to try a few to actually find out.The one i choose here is Papa Johns...

In my opinion Pizza Hut makes Pizza Right. Personally I like Meat lovers but they do it the way you want and they make an awesome stuffed crust as well if you prefer.

My cousin owns a pizza restaurant, and I think it is the best. However, since it is not your run of the mill in every city, I will have to choose a different one. I would say Domino's.

There are a tones of good chinese food that are very difficult to make decision all the time :-p

Well it would be Papa john's then but they don't deliver out where I live they stop about 1/4 of a mile up the road. But it is worth going and getting. We have a store in fron of where we live about 300 ft and it makes okay pizza not the best but it is okay..

Where I live we have Figaros Pizza and it has one of the best flavors. But when I shop pizzas, I try to find ones that are whole wheat or at least thin crust--to cut down on the carb contribution.

I think you should try Southindian dishes. I think they are very great in taste. Masala dosa, ghee roast, sadhya, onion dosa, small dosa, vada, baji, banana fry, etc are some of the famous southindian dishes. I think Pizza Hut is a good place to order pizza. I also think Domninos are good one.

not sure about pizza take out place we rarely order pizza but we do make our own i don't know if you have it there but we can buy uncooked pizza and just needs baking in the oven or sometimes hubby only buys he wrap and makes his own pizza that way we eat what we exactly want, spices etc. and at cheaper price yet bigger size not saying that pizza take out is expensive but we just don't have much room in the budget right now aside from necessities

We don't order out a lot b/c it's so expensive but when we do we always go for Pizza Inn. Their pizza is pretty good and I love their bread sticks. Pizza Hut is way to oily and KFC is way too greasy too. We have a chinese place that you can go get takeout but it's not on our top 5 list. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**
