Do you experiment with your hair?

Are you the person who goes to the stylist with crossed fingers when she says she is going to give you a new style? Do you stick with the style that you have playing it safe? Or are you a kind of person who tries out different styles and are comfortable to chop your hair whenever you want or style it in different ways and experiment with it?

The last time I ever did anything with my hair, I remember tears flowing down my face. I wanted to try long layers and remember the beautician cutting my hair and it was my first time ever doing it. I love it after she was finished but I looked down and saw my hair on the floor lol. So since then I just get my hair a trimming and get my hair styled in roller set after getting it relaxed.

aww I know it can be pretty depressing when you are getting it done the first time lol But since you liked it after she had finished its a consolation or it would have been worse

when i was much younger i do experiment on my hair. sometimes i am the one who cuts it... or find a good photo of a lady with a great hair and tell the stylist to copy that style for me. i am a singer in a band so i am not scared of experimenting. some stylist will advice that this might not look good on me for my face shape differs on what the lady had on the photo and give some suggestions. now that i am 38 i still do experiment but in a more adult way

I basically stay with the same style because I like my hair longer but I do experiment with color. Right now it's a lovely shade of red that I used a blond coloring kit to create. My natural color has red highlights and I knew that a golden blond would bring out the red without it looking like Red From A Box. I'm going to try a more unusual color next.

haha an unusual colour sounds fun and would turn a lot of heads around for better or worse. I wonder what colour that would be

I am pretty play-it-safe with my hair. I have experimented with a lot of different lengths, but not really so much with color or anything else. I donate every couple years to locks of love, so I try to keep my hair as untreated as possible so that they can use it. I'd like to be more adventurous than I am, but until I stop giving to locks of love, I think I'll keep in my current pattern :)

Donating hair is a good thing to do and it is great that you work towards leaving you hair untreated for the sake of it

I like to experiment a bit with my hair. I cut it myself sometimes. Other times, I go to a salon. I normally have a friend do my highlights because she is very good at it. As far as styles, I like to try new things, but I do not go crazy with the styles. It's fun to play with hair and try to find new styles that you like. I think it can be hard to find the best styles that suit your facial structure and are different from your everyday looks.

Yes, certain hair styles just don't suit a face and they might look a different person all together.
