Yesterday, while l was shopping at the supermarket, l overheard 2 pregnant ladies discussing, which is the best place for deliver their babies. One said, prefer to deliver at general hospital because it saves money. While, the other one said, her husband prefer private hospital as their service is much better. How about your decision?

happy family - my photo with my daughter and my husband
i just gave birth 1 year and 6 months ago and i strictly recommended to all pregnant women that they must deliver their babies in the private hospital, because the services are much better than the general hospital, and the doctors and the nurses are more attentive, and you will see they were very trained and professional on how to take care on their patient,,and really base on my experience, And one thing i noticed, is some of my friends who give birth in the general hospital they do self service and the nurses and doctors shouted them, when they complained the pain that they feel the nurses told them to keep quiet and wait when till the doctor comes.... imagine???

Yes, that's what had happened to my aunt when they didn't handle their jobs well. Luckily, now my aunt had fully recovered from that incident. And her baby now is a 10 years old boy..

I gave birth in a upscale general hospital, which most would say is similar to a private. I got my own birthing room, which was almost like a suit in a luxury hotel room. My husband had a bed to sleep in, as well. Everything was done right there, which was nice.

Well, you are a lucky person that your husband able to be with you all the time. Usually, they don't provide any bed for husband to stay-in.

I prefer the private hospital because they have state of the art medical equipments, clean facilities and hotel-like rooms. At private hospitals, the baby need not stay at the nursery too. The baby sleeps with the mom at her room. Some private hospitals also have a birthing room adjacent to the mother's room. So she will deliver her baby in a private birthing room. I am scared of public hospitals because there are many incidents of baby switching.

l also deliver my baby in private hospital because it is nearby to my house. Eventhough the fees would be slightly high, but the service is what we sought after. Yes, l ever heard of this kind of cases ever happened and it really scared me when l think about it.

obviously the private hospitals are the best but only if one can afford it,if your husband or family cant afford it there is no harm in delivering the babyin the general hospital,i mean to say that u should see your husband's financial condition and then take the decision

Yes, it is no harm if we were to deliver baby in general hospital. But, the one thing for sure is, we must be careful with how the staffs handle their jobs. My aunt nearly lost her life when deliver her baby in general hospital because they left a piece of cotton inside her stomach. Luckily, the doctor had discovered it through x-ray after my aunt had complained that she had abdomen pain for a week.
