Well with everyone here, and coming from different places and have different plans for mobile bills. I would like to know how much you spend for your mobile. in simple words, whats your mobile bill!! and what does it include.? Myself, I spend around 10 Euros ($12) per month. On a Pay as you Go contract. I use to have a Monthly contract costing 35 Euros ($44) a month but with the current economic situation decided to change to pre paid. How about You ?

I have blackberry pearl 8120 & I have my service through T-Mobile... My bill comes out to about $116/month... I have unlimited plan for $99.99/month, which includes unlimited calls regardless whom I call or who calls me, unlimited text & picture messages... Then I have unlimited blackberry plan for $19.99/month, which gets me unlimited access to internet & e-mails... Normally the bill would come out to close to $140/month with taxes & fees but I do get 15% discount for working in the company that I do so with that discount, the whole bill comes out to about $116/month... My phone works pretty much everywhere I need it to work so I like it...

Thanks sk66rc for your reply, I could not afford to pay so much each month even with unlimited calls. I don't spend much time on the phone, and normally wait till I get home to make calls as I free calls from home for local and for most of the world, so I wouldn't benefit from this tariff.

I completely understand... Sometimes it's not even the matter of weather you can afford it or not... Most people are not glued to their cell phones... In my case, because of my job situations, I sortta have to have a cell phone... I do have a landline phone at home but only reason I have landline is because I have DSL for internet service... Phone part is really cut down to bare bone minimum... Only person who uses a landline phone in my house is my daughter... She doesn't even make calls most of the times...

Thanks mdawson for your comment, and welcome to Mylot as well, I hope you enjoy yourself on here. $65 a month seems a very high amount even with unlimited Texts, although I see you get free calls in the evening and weekends. You mention free incoming calls, are these not normally free then. In Europe incoming calls are always free for cell phones and landlines as well.

Thanks atish for your reply, that seems a bit steep, $43 a month, you must make a lot of calls if you are using a pre paid card. Wouldn't it be more economical to switch to a contract ?

I pay $28-$31 per month through the Alltel prepaid service. I purchase time and they deduct $1 per day from my account. My service includes unlimited texts, unlimited mobile-mobil, unlimited nights & weekends, call waiting, caller ID, voicemail. It is perfect for what I need and if a financial crisis arrises, I can just quit with no strings attatched.

Thanks marmis for taking the time to respond, this sounds like a very good plan, which seems to offer a lot for a small outlay per day.

Thanks for your response, I can also see that you are new here, so may I take this oppourtunity to say Welcome, I hope you enjoy yourself here and make plenty of friends. Out of interest do you use all of your mins and texts each month, I tend to use more texts than voice calls. Also if you don't use all your entitlement, is it carried over or lost ?

Hi Jason Thanks for the welcome. I don't use all of the allowance however I do get close, every month. Deb

I have a prepaid account.I spend $8-10 every month. In india , many company launches mobile service. One cpmpany named Reliance SMART offers low rates to their subscriber. If my mobile service provider dont cut the call charges then, i will purchase a new connection from reliance smart and leave the present connection.

Thanks skyblue for replying, $8 - $10 per month doesn't sound too bad. I think at the moment with the way the economy is, a pre paid card is the best way to go, unless you use your phone constantly.

I use a prepaid mobile connection and my bill is never huge as prepaid connection lets you see how much ur spending on each call. I recharge my phone with about 500 rs ( 10$) a month out of which 300 rs ( about 6 $) is deducted for my GPRS connection and rs 200 (4$) is enough for me for then month as call rates are pretty low in India.

I agree with you. At the moment, I prefer to use a pre paid optiion as it makes budgeting easier for me, but as the economy improves and I start tio have more money in my pocket, then I might switch back to a Contract. Thanks for replying. Happy MyLotting

well even if i have a million $ in my pocket i wont switch to post paid in India as i dont trust service providers and over billing is quite common and if u give up the connection and even after all the paper work they ask you to do and u do it to stop the connection they still sending you bill month after month. It has happened to countless people and more than 20 persons i know personally.
