Discuss your thoughts on the band..how it has evolved in the years/ good and bad....and also discuss the man behind the name..

I'm a very big MM fan but I think that it was a mistake losing Twiggy. Antichrist Superstar is one of my favorite albums. I do like the other albums, but I think the last one lost a bit of it's edge. I also thought the lyrics were a bit repetitive.

i think his music is a good way to escape the everyday problems. he is a good artist in my opinion. he is a very smart man if you must know the truth and i dont mean his music i mean in genral he is smart. i also find it funny that his dad is a priest.

One can't truly "escape" everyday problems...but I think is music can endow some with the power to face them head-on and his tunes are an enjoyable thing in life.

I have never found him or his music appealing. Its actually quite annoying.

He is a very intelligent man if you ever happen to catch an interview with him

Manson has mainstreamed his music and image over the past few years. But, I won't hold that against him. In fact he is still the poster child for non-conformity, and for that, I love him. Fight the pre-disposed notions of society!

"I think art is the only thing that's spiritual in the world. And I refuse to forced to believe in other people's interpretations of God. I don't think anybody should be. No one person can own the copyright to what God means." - - Marilyn Manson

the change that Marilyn Manson had suffered is remarkable...his music and style had become more profunde now... like he said in "The Golden Age Of Grotesque" : "I'm not an artist i'm a f****** work of art". In comparison to past Manson, Now-Marilyn is putting a huge accent on signs and riddles, painting, directoring etc...and plus he is married now he needs a time on his own. But 2007 will bring us an album so we'll see

He just opened his own new art gallery in LA not too long ago..I read about it in a TIME magazine article..where he stands next to his painting of Edgar Allen Poe
