any lovely color?

i am in the mood of painting again.since i have nice friends in mylot that i can ask their opinion, i would like to ask again.whats the best color for bed room?any sudgestion?
hubby´s idea is we use 2 colors,where the head board is, he likes yellow and the other side i can discide but dont know what color fits to yellow

well....i dunno about you but i would chose blue...electric blue actually and yellow should be veryyy dark but shimmering

i dont like yelloe but hubby likes the yello where our head board is and then i can decide what color to combine in other corner.anyway thanks forthe sudgestion.

hmmm...well then....think hard....decide what colour would make you feel good....coz i rerad it on my lot....colours affect your mood....

What about violet. It seems a trendy colour. Or what about red?

welcome back.well hubby like yellow but he said we dont paint all yellow,i can decide which color i combined it.so you mean red and yellow?the violete also nice but does it fit to the yellow?

we dont have lots of decor because we have full of cabinets here.but hubby likes the yellow i mean corn yellow

I do know really what is great with yellow, you know I am not good in color combination....

Hi bombshell, I love the colour yellow but wouldn't have it in the bedroom it is more a colour for the kitchen...a nice lilac or purple is soothing for the bedroom, it is a relaxing colour and a more spiritual colour but a very comfortable colour..also a nice pink or pinky red is nice...its also meant to perk up your love life too!! lol...that is a nice relaxing colour too and warm which is more enticing for the bedroom...hope that helps..hugs littleowl

thanks littleowl.yes i agree but yellow is hubby´s sudgestion and he likes it.the pink we have in my little girls room the one in my avatar thats her bedroom.

i would love to help you but i suck when it comes to color. i am color blind and when we need to change the paint in the house my wife is the one who talks to the paint store attendant to mix color she likes. i get confused between greens and blues. i get lost between the middle of yellows and red. so i am the wrong person to give you a hand.

A nice shade of purple would be out there, but would match the yellow. Whatever contrast it is, it should match. I would recommend going to the store where they usually have paper swatches of colors and there you can decide what you want painted what and such!
