Do you study foreign language?

I am a Chinese. I began to study foreign language in my primary school. And as I know all the students of China study at least one kind foreign language. And I take the English as my second language which is the required course for me in the school till the college, and some others may take Japanses or Korean or Russian,etc. Do you study foreign language too? Which kind of language is taken as your second language ? Is it your required course?

Hi candy,
I am Indonesian and actually Indonesian Language is not my first language :-). My first language is Javanese. It is a language spoken by majority of people in Central and East Java Island. I started to learn English since my secondary school. In College, I had a chance to learn French. It is only first level though. I want to learn chinese but I guess it is very difficult since we need to know the intonation and characters.

I think you are right.Many of my friends coming from other countries tell me that my mother tongue ,Chinese,is very difficult!But I think if you had chance to study it one by one step, you could find it is interesting and not so difficult as you think. I haven't have chance to know the Javanese. I think it should be very interesting.Happy mylotting.

Yes, I like to speak foreign languages. I travel to foreign countries, and it is very helpful if one can spake the language of the country. English is my home language, and I am now learning German language. I want to learn Chinese and Thai languages also, but have not got the chance yet.

I take English as my second language. I like this language, and learned it in my primary school. I enjoy its expression and sound, and i find it is one kind of language that more easy to learn. I ever elected Japanese as my elective course, but so embarrased i study it not so well. Happy mylotting!
