are you having enough sleep everyday????

this is my number one problem.....i am only having 4 and 1/2 hours of sleep everyday...i wanted to have some more but i ust cant....no matter how ive tried..the thing is i normally go to sleep at around 12 midnight then woke up at 4:30 everyday ...thats my daily sleeping routine..i envied those people who sleeps longer....and i dont want to take pills for this for i knew it aint good....how about you?????? are you having enough hours of sleep????

No i don't get enough sleep.i am lucky if get 2 hours a night.I have a lot going on in my life,and when i try to sleep my mine just want sleep.

lol....were rockin on the same boat...but im fine with it at least im resting a little...better than nothing right..one advantage is a have a lot of time doing our stuffs..

Why don't you take a hot shower or drink some warm milk, also Teas will work, Chamolie Tea, that is what someone told me here.

NO, never have tea before sleeping, tea will make you clear in brain, believe me, I am from China.

Yes i am having enough sleep every day.There are just some times when i get back pains in the morning those are the times i get up and sit.Even in the afternoons here the climate is very hot.I cannot sleep because of the heat waves and the sweat coming out from the body.If i put pain killers i can sleep the whole night very well.

I feel sorry for you not able to sleep. Why not just get up out of bed and wrap yourself in a warm blanket, have a cup of warm milk and watch TV or read a book until you get sleepy? That's what I would do. It usually works. Don't just lie there in bed trying to get back to sleep because 9 times out of 10 you won't. If I may also suggest to you...get more exercise during the day. Tire your body out. Take long walks, run, skip, jump. Just move. You don't need pills to get to sleep, you need to feel tired, really tired. If your dreams are waking you up, find out what they mean. lol.....everything is said is my routine....but its not helping ...i do exercise....take some glasses of milk....do a lot of yard work but still my sleeping habit doesnt change at all....

Is there anying on your mind?I usually get good sleep but when sth bad come up I would not be able to sleep well.Just clean those things that make you upset from mind.Drinking a bottle of milk before going to sleep.I hope this would help. If you always wake up in the middle of sleep without any reason and you don't feel tired the next morning then it is not a bad thing.At least you have more time to do things you like than others.

nothing really bothers me at all....ohh i do drink milk everyday but still the same ...i knew it already been carve in my system so it is a very hard to erase/ break...i am just enjoying myself on the net and playing games too if im done with my never ending crafts and readings...lol

when i first read it that i suppose you r too busy to sleep,but now you have used to having sleep at the mid-night,sorry to tell you that my sleep time is very well enough to recover the wake up,but do you know there stand a lot ill that when you sleep deep,your things will be more easrier to be stolen,hehe,just a joke , you can count the goat and the stars and so on ,you need not to worry about that how to get to sleep well ,or listen to some soft music,hope u will be soon

lol!!! ohh well im sorry to tell you that we dont have goats here but i have an exchange to that though....im gonna start counting the alligators instead....hahahaha.....your right...im much better compare to the security alarm in the house..so were not turning it on at night for i am wide awake....lol....i dont mind of exerting effort to sleep much more at all..i enjoy this routine...

I do have enough sleep. It's my choice to have enough sleep. When I was younger, I wouldn't sleep longer than five hours and it was not good for my health. You can actually change you sleeping patterns if you want to.

i find it hopeless....what i am doing is im just making use of my time upon doing a lot of stuffs....i am happy now being this way for i already have displacement for my less hours of sleep....

I get between 4 and 6 hours a night and that is more than enough for me. I might sleep a little more on the weekends. I think sleeping too much can take up too much time and sometimes it can be wasted time, just sleeping for the sake of it. If I could go with out sleep altogether, I would but it is not something that is possible. I think some people just need more or less sleep than others. Everyone is different.

yes your right every individual were different....one possitive thing of having less number of hours to sleep is you can accomplish a lot of things..which is i am doing right now..

I sleep 6 hours per day. I do sleep after 12PM but usually I will wake at 6, you know, I'm muslim and should pray before morning. If I can not sleep 6 hours at night, I will add it in the afternoon after 12 :D. So it means, I have enough sleep everyday and I'm very grateful with that. :D

My DAD was a marine he trained my whole house hold that 4 hour's of sleep a day is good enough.. You can get alot done on this kid of sleep habit's.. Me since my DAD passed away I started to take PM's pip's just till my seystem went to 4hrs to 7hrs..It took me 6 month's to do this and the pill's didn't hurt my body at all good luck at pleasent dream's...

well this is good....everyone in the house is practicing this....at first with the training it will really be hard..but as we go on will get used to it..and soon come to realize that what your dad has taught you guys is not that bad at all..

From Sunday to Thursday, I try to go to bed at the same time (between 10 and 11) and wake up at 6am every day for work. There are only a couple of times (during the night) where I'll get up and look at my clock and go back to bed. Friday and Saturday nights, it doesn't matter what time I go to bed at all. Last Friday, I ended up going to bed around midnight, but didn't fall asleep until after 3am. Saturday night, I went to bed around 2am, but I had to get up around 5am, since I was going away for the day. I would suggest to try a sleeping schedule. Maybe that will work =). Best of luck.

Ever heard of 8 hours of sleep makes a well rested refreshed person? Well, if you're able to get that good for you, but I'm lucky to get 4 or 5 hours. My life is so hectic its hard to fall asleep, and when I actually do the baby wakes up, or the alarm goes off, or somebody upstair slams a door. I wouldn't advise taking pills just yet, but talking to your doctor about it is a definite must. My doctor was very helpful to me when I talked to her about it.

i am lucky if sleep more that 3 hrs a day, every body in my room sleeps for 6-9 hrs a day but i can't sleep if bychance i sleep for pindrop sound i will get disturbed, i too don't want take pills is there any method for deep sleeping except pills if so please tell me it will be great help for me

No lalola24! I have not had enough sleep for the past few days as my schedule is getting really busy these days and I am the kind of person for whom even 8 hours of sleep may be less. I sleep around 1 am in the morning and have to get up by 7 but this is not because I have a lot of work, yes I do work till 11, 12 midnight but after that I generally sit on my laptop watching movies or surfing and I hardly know when I kill time. SO considering that I think I really curse myself then when I get up in the morning that I did not hit the sack earlier at night. Anyways, generally on weekends I am able to sleep for long hours and really enjoy the sleep as it is generally a weekend and there is no kind of duty pressure that is looming over your head. And yes, it is pretty wise of you to avoid taking pills as it will only do more harm to you than good. Anyways best of luck..

i do no t sleep for long everyday but whatever time i sleep for it seems enough for me..i cant go to sleep again once i wake up

Meh, for me, normally I went to sleep at 10pm and wakes up at 6am. So it makes 8hrs per day. But I'm still a student =)

I cant sleep more than 4 hours i want to sleep more time but my mind is restless these days too many thoughts make me feel too much pressurised. i have tried sleeping early in that case but i tend to get up again because i cannot sleep and start working on mylot thinking of rather than wasting time its good that i work and then i slowly sleep lately when i dont even come to know that i have slept off and no time i sleep it day and back to work
