In about 5 minutes my friend is delivering my girl scout cookies...I only ordered three boxes as I am trying to watch my weight....the coconut ones...the tag alongs....and the lemon ones! She has two little girls in girl scouts and I take turns ordering from them. Did you order girl scout cookies this year? Did you cut back because of the price or did you order what you wanted to help support the girl scouts?

I ordered Girl Scout cookies this year from my husband's friend's daughter. I ordered thin mints for me, and short bread for my husband. My husband's friend lives about two hours away from us. He brought the cookies a couple of weeks ago, and did not bring what I ordered. He brough two boxes of the lemon ones. I did not complain, because he lives so far away. The cookies were good, but there are only 16 cookies in the box. I would expect a few more for $3.50.

That is expensive but for a good cause....that is part of the reason I didn't order so many either....but they are good cookies!

I didn't order girl scout cookies this year for myself. Shouldn't have all the sugar. I did, however, order several boxes to send to the troops in Iraq. A good friend of mine sent me an email. Her little granddaughter was selling them so I did order and the cookies will be shipped to the guys/gals serving in the armed forces. Thought this was a better and new way to do it this year and not have them here so I can hog down as many thin mints as my mouth will hold.

The cookies are going to my good friend's son's troop. His sister is going to ship them. I decided they would love the cookies more than I need them so it's time to share. I really liked this idea and was glad to be a part of their idea.

33 cases were sent to the troops and it was a good feeling to be a part of the donation. Thanks for giving me the best response.

I didn't order any cookies this year. However, I did buy 2 boxes from a sale that was being held outside a store. I purchased 1 box of thin mints and one box of lemonades. The lemonades were gone that evening.

I forgot to add that the price doesn't keep me from buying the cookies. I have to have my favorites!

I wasn't going to buy any this year but my mom's fiance bought some for me from a little girl that he knows. So of course I took them and said thanks. LOL He bought me some lemon ones and the chocolate mint ones. Then the lady at the consignment shop has become a friend of ours and we took some stuff up there and she gave my son a box of the shortbread ones. I don't really know the names of any of these cookies. LOL I just know they are so yummy. So I really didnt' buy any this year but I did eat some. :-)

My husband come home from work the other day with 4 boxes of cookies. He said he had to take the money the next day. He got them from one of the secretaries at work who was selling some for her daughter. He got tagalongs and some other type of peanut butter. I am not sure if he had much of a choice or not but I would have picked some different one too. LOL

Hi jillhill, I always Girl Scout cookies!! I think that is a great organization for kids to grow up in. And yes, they are so very good. The price keeps going up and the amount of cookies goes down, but the reason for the cookies is the same. And that is to help young girls. My son-in-law loves the gooey carmel chocolate ones, so I bought him 5 boxes from the neighborhood girls. He will be so happy when he gets these. My daughter likes the lemon ones, and I like the shortbread ones. Yummy!!! Have a good day..

My step daughter is in girl scouts so we ordered about $100 worth of cookies. We love girl scout cookies!!! That was the main reason she was in girl scouts in the first place
