What has your cat destroyed?

Sometimes cats and kittens can get pretty rowdy and destroy some of our possessions. Here are some things that I have had torn up by my little furballs: 1.) Laptop Keyboard, currently I am missing 5 keys 2.) 1000 piece completed jigsaw puzzle (they waited until I finished to destroy it) 3.) Bedroom Curtains, as a result of constantly climbing and finally being torn down 4.) Pair of dark denim jeans (I had several kittens climb me like a tree and they left snags in my jeans) 5.) Bowls and glasses, they have knocked them off the counter 6.) A lamp, also knocked over I hope I am not discouraging anyone from getting a cat/kitten. These memories make me smile and laugh. I also do not discipline my cats as I see it as wrong, I let them be who they are, as long as they are not getting hurt I am happy. What has your cat or kitten destroyed? Are you as laid back as me about this? Or do you get angry when your cat makes a mistake?

Hello angela_allen. As I remember my cat destroyed our kettle and iron. My parents got mad at her and we have to buy a new one. Then one of our cats just last year, broke my mom's expensive vase. She got mad at her. We have to be careful with our things when they are around cats. They tend to be curious of a lot of things.

hmmm, if we are talking clothes that would be half my wardrobe from snags--I have gotten good at the snag repair. lol. Mine like to shread cardboard boxes, nevermind I might need it. They haven't really knocked anything over, they are pretty careful. They chewed up my ex-husband's sweater--it was angora. My first cat popped all the buttons off my laptop keyboard. And I managed to put them all back on but one and evidently I don't really need that button cause I don't miss it. But other than that we are pretty good.

Mostly the couch. Other than the one spot they all think they should scratch, it's a very nice couch. But one corner is showing some wood through the shredded upholstery and batting.

One of my cats once ate an entire vanilla-scented candle. One of the HUGE cylindrical ones. The cat puked it up on the one un-cat-puke-stained spot left on the carpet afterward, so she was fine. :-/

UGH we have a cat that just does WHATEVER he wants....whenever. We found him by our house about a year ago and he was such a sweet little cat.....NOW he is a fat cat that likes to jump on top of everything. We have 2 large bookshelves in our living room and he likes to jump to the top of them...or at least attempt too, he is getting too fat to jump that high anymore. Then we have a big screen tv that he also attempts to jump on top of but the problem with that is A. he cant jump quite that high anymore and 1 day is going to scratch the screen and B. the top of it isnt that wide so there is really no where for him to stand and he just slides down the back...ha ha to him! We adore him very much but he just gets into everything. He is constantly on the counter and the table. He likes to look out the window so my drapes fall every now and again. Oh well.....guess thats the fun part of having a cat! :)

1) A very old lamp 2) a TV Remote 3) A table. they scratch it until there was so many marks i just got rid of it. And I also agree. Despite all the damage they might cause cats are great pets and these memories make me love them even more.
