I think the best way to decide is to ask your brother to go look up DS games and PSP games. I think it would be best if he decides basing on the platform in which the majority of the games he likes are made for. I got this advice from my brother. I didn't have this in mind when I bought my DS, but I'm really happy that there are so many games for the DS that I like Pokemon, and Animal Crossing, and my all time favorite, Ace Attorney.

Hi, It really depends how old your little brother is. If he is under a teenager then I would definitely recommend a Nintendo DSi for him. The main reason being, is that there are a lot more games for the DS than for the PSP. Also, the games are much more enjoyable as they include characters like Mario, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Wario and many others. On the other hand, even though the PSP has got way better graphics, I find that the games are really boring and I got sick of them really quickly. Plus, it is quite expensive. So my bet would be to buy the Nintendo DSi. Hope this information helps you!

It's hard to say DS better than PSP or PSP better than DS, both of them have each specialization. I think PSP have more great game and have a good quality, same as ps2, and DS have entertaining game which will improve our crativity when playying it's game. Both of them is expensive i though, so it also hard to decide. But I think you'd better give your brother a DS.

It depends on your bro's preferences, like what he likes to play and stuff like that. If he likes RPGs, puzzles, and/or interactive games, then go with the DS. If he likes action/sports games, or some nifty strategy RPGs, then go with the PSP. I have both handhelds, and they're great (I don't even use the multimedia features on the PSP, mind you).

I would say I'd prefer PSP. Graphic wise and sound wise, it's better. PSP has actually more good games than DS. It looks nicer than the DS, at least on my personal opinion. My brother has a Nintendo DS Lite, trust me, it wasn't that great as I expected. Although there's 2 screens, they're actually small and only one is touch screen. What I like though is it has longer battery life. Here's two links comparing PSP and DS. You might wanna check it out. I personally prefer the DS over a PSP, but I own both of the systems anyhow. I just like more of the games for the DS; stuff that can easily be paused or saved in the middle of something while I'm traveling, in case I'm interrupted.

Personally, I prefer DS Lite over PSP.. I used to have a Sony PSP game console before but I sold it after two months because i didn't like it that much.. the games were limited and yes and the game experience is different(it makes me feel dizzy after an hour and so, maybe i'm not used to 3D games, that's why!).. my sister has both game consoles and i've noticed that she's spending more of her time playing with her DS Lite.. I got so curious so i decided to try it out.. without a doubt, DS lite is way better than PSP.. It has more exciting games such as Diner Dash, Cake Mania 1 and 2, Pokemon, Cooking Mama 1 and 2, Hell's Kitchen, Nintendogs and many more.. DS lite games will get you hooked for sure!
