I am sitting here watching Good Eats on the Food Network. I really like Alton Brown and his quirky style. I seem to watch this show quite a bit. I also like other Food Network shows.
Here is my ranking of favorite 5 shows
Diners, Drive ins and Dives
Good Eats
Iron Chef America
Throwdown with Bobby Flay
30 minute Meals with Rachel Ray -- Did you see those FHM photos :)
What are you favorite Food Network shows?

Okay, this may sound a bit nuts, but my husband collects restaurants. That is to say he likes to compare restaurants everywhere we go and tries to keep a running list of the top ten in each category. That is what takes our family to Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. While I like the show, I would rate it as my second choice.
My #1 favorite is Good Eats. I especially like that the science of food is explored. I like to know the background of a food and cooking methods. Once informed, it is easier to make choices in the kitchen when questions arise. The humor is a real plus too.
I can't think of too many of the Food Channel shows that I don't enjoy but the above two are my favorites.

I also like to compare resturaunts, but Im a huge burger fan, so Im on a quest to find the best one. So, diners, drive ins and drives is a great show.

I don't think I have seen that show.
My favorite burger ever was years ago (40 years?) at the Detroit Eastern Market. There was a little burger stand that made awesome burgers that were mixed almost like meatloaf and then fried in onions. Yum!

That sounds great, I usually put meatloaf on a bun like a hamburger....I love it that way. Ill have to try it with fried onions now.
