Hello Archie, Paypal is the most reputed and trusted online money transferring web-site. There is nothing unsafe to give your credit card no there. I don't know about any other sites. But my friends told that out of all money making websites they found this is the most reliable one and that's why I'm here.I recently joined here and I never got paid till now but I hope at the end of this month all my work will pay off. For online shopping I think you don't need to verify your account in paypal. By the way, you can also transfer all your paypal money to your local bank account with little bit of service charges. So, no need to be worried, continue mylotting, good luck...

Yea I am hundred percent sure.. You can withdraw money from paypal without verifying your account. You can also shop online with an unverified paypal account as long as your transaction amount is below 500$.

Archie0, In the first place, what made you signed up PayPal? I am sure that you would not have chosen PayPal if you do not trust them in the first place, right? Let's be honest would the millions of members here would ever want to use PayPal if they are found untrustworthy? They must be fools including me. The reason why verification is needed in PayPal is simply because it will lift off the limitations for the online payment processor. However, you can always choose not to do so if you are not going to be actively using it or in simple receiving and withdrawing large amount of monies from this facility. Anyway, if you are planning to submit your details, then let me assure you that the site is perfectly safe. The only unsafe would be your unprotected personal computer that does not have the basic security setups i.e. firewall, latest anti virus and anti spyware softwares. Also, please be aware that they do need your bank details so that they can wire the monies to your account when you request from them. I can understand your where you are coming from, but let me ask you a poser here - would a hacker be interested in your PayPal account or the Bank's account? Besides, the details that you register and submit to PayPal are simply private and confidential which means that access is only solely in your accorded registration and submission. The only time this is compromised will usually due to our own carelessness and negligence. Lastly, I would advise that you to stop emailing PayPal as you would not be getting a reply from them, reason being that your answers could be easily found in their Q&A section. Also, your issue is of trust which there is nothing they could do to convince you. It will be dependent on your sole judgment. I think you will need to get this trust issue over by yourself and all I can say is that if you cannot fully trust them then do things one step at a time and see for yourself. Have a nice day.

I had the same problem with PayPal early on. It seemed like they wanted way too much information from me. Eventually they booted me because I would not send them certain documents I thought were too personal. Finally I just opened a new account in my husband's name and use it without problem ever since. i believe PayPal is legitimate and there is no risk in giving them your info. If I had known that when I first started using them, I would have given them what they requested....

I have been using Paypal for many years and have never had a security issue. As long as you do not fall pray to fake emails appearing from Paypal you will be allset. Paypal has a good practice of posting information to help users maintain their security.

Hi Archie. Paypal is a trusted e-commerce site that allows their members to send, receive and transfer funds/money. I opened a Paypal account last year and have been using it without problems. In fact it is very convenient, fast and easy to use. And as for shopping, personally I prefer using Paypal (if the site allows Paypal payments), that way you don't have to enter bank/credit card details to a lot of shopping sites don't you think?
