Where was the last place you lived?

Do you remember where you used to live before you moved to where you are now? I used to live in Marrietta, Georgia. Before that, I used to live in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Before that, I had spent a little time in Georgia. Before Georgia, I was in Miami, Florida. And before that, I was in Haiti and I moved to three different cities in Haiti. Was it better than where you're currently living? Do you miss it? Do you still visit it once in a while? Did you have a bad experience when you used to live there?

I have lived in seven places in the last 12 years. I hope the moving stops soon. We have small children and I would like them to stay in one home for longer than a year. I lived in Staunton, Va to Titusville, fl then Port St. John,Fl then Raphine Va then cocoa fl then port st john again, then alabama. I really loved Florida.

Life is certainly full of change and adjustments. My children have not only learned to adjust, but they have conquered adjustments. They "go with the flow" if you will. The kids are great and they do adjust better than adults. Kids follow your lead though. If you don't like something, neither do the kids. We try to keep a positive outlook.

I like Florida a lot too. I really enjoy Miami. But the only other place I've been was Orlando, so that does say a lot about my Florida experiences. But moving a lot does tend to keep your children form making long lasting friendships. But the upside of moving around is that you do get to meet new people and experience new things. The downside is that it can be quite a scary and nerve-racking thing. You have to start all over and stuff.

I remember living right down the street, then I moved into my grandma's house. I honestly liked the old house better. It had a bigger backyard and plenty of space. The house I am currently living in feels much more crammed.

Yeah, we tend to like certain things about previous places we lived instead of the current place we live. But I'm sure you'll find something that you like in the new place that you didn't have ion the old place. It's all in the matter of time.

do you mean city or house? I did live in Denton Texas when I was going to college, but other than that - I've lived in Austin since I was a small child - I mean - under 2. I also went to college in San Marcos Texas and Killeen Texas, but living ... before I lived in this house, I lived in one that is now gone down near campus in town

I live on the edge of a coastal town in the south west. I have lived here since 2005. Before that I lived in village three miles from a historic city in the south east. I lived there since 1991 but I left it to travel around the world, go to university and take up my first teaching position. Now I live close to my mum and sister but they used to be one and a half and two hours away from me respectively. Train fares are expensive in my home country so I am keen to go overseas rather to go back to where I used to live. I wonder what it was like when you lived in Haiti. I love tropical weather but I live in a cold country.

I remember in Haiti I used to live in a village. It was really pretty and peaceful. The people were really friendly and helpful. I used to go to the beach all the time during the summer with my family. The colors were always so vivid. The sky was so blue and the ocean was always so calm. But right now, all the media ever talks about are the terrible place. Every country has an ugly side. But no need to listen to me rant on and on. You would love in the Caribbeans, but if not the Caribbeans, maybe Hawaii..

The last place I lived was Fogang, China. I was teaching English over there for about 2 years, and only moved back to Australia about 6 months ago. There are things that I do miss about China, but I am glad to be home. My fiance and I are planning on going back to China to travel in about 3 years, so we will try and visit Fogang again then, so that we can catch up with some of the friends that we made while we were living there.

Well, that still means you've in more than one place. Are you getting a little tired of Missouri life? Is it nice in Missouri, though?

The last 21 years I have lived withing the same 10 mile area, although in 5 different neighborhoods. Prior to that, I lived in Colorado (5 different neighborhoods in probably 6 years). Prior to that I was in the same general vacinity of where I am now. I have also lived in another area in Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia Beach, Pennsylvania and Georgia - those were all from birth to when I was about 12. I'd love to live in Colorado again, it was so beautiful. I don't see that happening though because I like being close to my family.

Let's see last place I lived was a small town about 20 miles east of where I am now. Before that I lived in Louisiana for nearly 17 years till the hurricanes took us out with Katrina, I left so many friends to relocate a 1000 miles from home. I would love to go visit but with times hard now and that is a long trip to take I dont' like driving any more I would probably have to take the bus to visit. Yes I miss home, especially the food, we can't get any seafood here like we used to go to the dock and just pick it up. When I was married to the kids dad, he used to move us all over, Indiana, Florida, Louisiana, back to Indiana, then to Ohio. Seemed soon as we got setteled he was off again.

I am now living in the east coast area of Singapore in a stretch of land fronting the sea. I have been living here a year after I got married in 1986, so that's 22 years already. I love this estate and will never wish to move elsewhere. Before my marriage, I used to live in a private estate of one and two-storey houses much further inland about 30 minutes by car from my current home. I still go back there weekly, because my church is there and my mother, who stays with my brother, also lives around that area. I also enjoyed living there during my younger days before my marriage, and visiting there brings back very nostalgic memories for me.

I grew up in a small town in Missouri, then moved to Pensacola, Florida and from there to where I am now in South Carolina. I have lived here for that last 10 years, and I still visit the other places I have lived. All of my family still live in and around the small town where I grew up so we attempt to get back there at least once a year. As for going back to Florida, though I have some close friends, it's harder to get down there because of feeling the need to go back home, instead of going to see friends.

I just recently moved from Central Pennsylvania to southern Virginia. I lived in two small towns (boroughs) in Pa. Before that I lived in Austin, Texas, for a little over a year. Prior to that I lived in the Hill country of Texas, central Texas, I lived in 4 different towns in the area of Texas. Before that I lived on the coast in Corpus Christi, we lived there for 20 years, and before that I lived in Mesquite, Texas. I do miss both Pennsylvania and Texas but for very different reasons. I will be going back to Pennsylvania one or two more times, and then after that I doubt that I will go back there, for many reasons. I do miss Texas and have only been back there twice in the past 4 years, to visit family. Bad experience, depends on how you look at it, lol. I would say my theme song is All My Exes Live in Texas, but now one lives in Pa. lol I don't regret any of the places I have lived, and there have been good experiences that have come from each place

I was born on the Farm in Ontario Canada that my Grandfather purchased in 1905. My father and I were both born 28 years apart in the same room of the old farmhouse. My oldest boy is living there today. I was born in 1933, and have lived on the farm for 75 years. I still work there in the summer. I am writing this from Alamo Texas where I live from Oct. to Apr. to escape the Canadian winter. I enjoy living in Canada in the summer, and in Alamo Tx. in the winter.

All 26 years of my life, I lived at the same house, same city in the Philippines. I moved to an apartment in a different city after I got married but stayed there for just a year because my husband and I lived in Herndon,Virginia. I love the place and I still wish we could go back and live there for good. But my husband was assigned to work with a project in Dearborn,Michigan so here we are. Where we live now is okay, I have not much complains but if I am to choose,I prefer to go back to Virginia. Happy Mylotting!

Before moving here, I lived in Illinois, before that, Indiana, before that Nevada, and before that Indiana. The only thing that i miss about where I used to live was having my family and friends close to me. It is quite a distance, so we do not get to visit very often.
