bank robberies, UMMMM, I wonder why?????
People are getting so desparate that they are going to the extreme to get money. Crime is wrong, but some people are taking the risks in order to make ends meet.
My question to you is, if you thought you could get away with it, during these hard times, would you consider robbing a bank, is you really thought you would not get caught in order to feed your family, pay medical bills, and keep a roof over your head?
Personally, I wouldn't because I do not believe in crime, I would try to get help from other sources before I do something like that.
What about you?

You are absoulutely right. I would never rob a bank either, but I can definately some people are driven to do so. This world that we live in is a very sad. My dad just found out yesterday(On his birthday) that he was laid off. he went from making over $14 an hour to making nothing. he will get unemployment, but still it won't be near as much. I hope this recession is over really soon.

Sorry to hear about your husband's lay off. What are we to do??????? I am on unemployment, but it is not enough to keep me above water.

I don't think I can answer that question truthfully right now. I guess it's because I'm not desperate enough to consider it... but what if you are desperate and there really is no money in your pocket/bank left for you to feed your kids, wouldn't you take the risk? I think despair changes people...we'd do crazy things to survive.

It really is sad how bad things have gotten for some people that robbing a bank seems like the only option they have. If I knew I was not going to get caught it sure would be tempting, but as tempting as it would be I still don't think I would do it. I guess though none of us can say for sure until we are in that position.
