So a friend of mine got engaged last weekend. Here is how it went down.... First, he told her to be ready at 9 am on Saturday. He had her picked up in a limo and dropped off at a spa. Then for the next three hours she was massaged, and pampered, and had her hair and makeup done. She still had no clue what was going to happen. The limo picked her up and there was a small lunch in it for her, and she ate while the limo took her to the mall and dropped her off, where the limo driver handed her a card. She opened the card, and it was a $250 gift card to the mall, the note said she should buy a dress for an evening of dinner and dancing. He said he would pick her up at 4:30. So she got a dress, shoes, and accessories, as well as getting to shop at her own pace. When she got to the limo, dressed in all of her new finery, the limo driver took her to a really nice restaurant. At 5:00, her boyfriend appeared and he was all dressed up too. He took her inside and they had dinner. By this time, she figured he was going to propose, so she was getting excited, but nothing happened except for a great meal. Then after dinner he took her to a Blue's dance club. About halfway through the evening, the band was getting ready to start their next set, and the guy said he had an announcement, the room got quiet. Then he announced that his good friend (insert boyfriend's name), wanted to know if (insert my friend's name) would do him the honor of being his wife. She looked over to where her boyfriend was sitting, and he was on his knees with the ring in his hand. She is still shaking.....

That is my far THE MOST romantic proposal I have ever heard!!!! Now, what I would like to know, is does this guy have a brother...who might be equally romantic. Just teasing, I am happily married.

He has brothers, one is already married, and the other 3 are all under 30. I don't know how romantic they are, but I do know his mom helped set the whole thing up. I wish my mother in law liked me enough to do that stuff. LOLOLOL

Hi there! Is this a true story? If so I have to say that I think your friend is really lucky! I can imagine that she felt like a real princess and that for her fiance, she is the only woman in the world! Sounds like a fairy-tale! I hope they have a happy life together!

Yes, it really happened to my friend. I don't know how much money he spent, but it sure beats my proposal. LOL They have been dating forever, so it is about time. I am really happy for her!
