Francis Magalona aka "Kiko", "Master Rapper, "The Man from Manila" is definitely a big lost in the music industry as well as a lost for us being a Filipino. i had never seen such a person who had the kind of dignity over his mother land, the nationality of his that awaken us to be who and what we really are...a proud FILIPINO. as soon as i had heard that horrible news, i sat down on my computer and immediately search for all the sites that Francis Magalona had, blog sites and journals from other hosted sites and there i read read and read all the articles that he and Pia wrote all about his struggles as he fights Leukemia. i will forever listen to his musics, and also the ailment that killed Francis Magalona is the same ailment that took the life of my fiance 3 months ago so somehow i know how he had gone through, not because i have Leukemia but because of what i had seen through the eyes of my fiance when she was still around. he is now in a world away from pain and suffering. a world all that is left is a world of eternal happiness.

Yeah I guess one of the first Filipino Rap that he introduced in the country. He introduced the kind of music that was really different yet it has some nationalistic sentiments. I just realized that after so many years I wasn't a follower of him but then only this time I realized how he contributed to the industry is really amazing. His sense of Patriotism is very nice too.

i came to know the passing of francis M last saturday at eat bulagas program. i cried the entire show until startalk. i cant help but cry coz i kept seeing or hearing francis M updating the public of his condition. although, he was suffering from terminal condition, he was very hopeful and even enthusiastic about everything. i was shocked and still couldn't believe he's really gone. he was full of life and all. what a great loss to our nation. His talent is beyond words to describe it. he put the rap in pinoy culture which gives us more reason to appreciate his music. I still shed a tear every time i see him come on air. it breaks my heart to see him go so early in life. he could have done more. Ms Pia Magalona is really a strong woman. i salute to her. she would probably be able to feel everything and come to realization that francis is no longer around when they're just them at home. i pray for francis eternal repose and his family that the Lord will help them get through his loss. we will miss you FRANCIS M!!! man from manila, cold summer nights, loving you, mga kababayan, kaleidoscope world.

Its really sad that Francis Magalona now pass away. I like that guy. His a nice music performer and his really a nationalistic artist. Most of his songs are very inspiring and boost morale with our countrymen. His famous song mga kababayan ko is really my favorite. I like the beat and the meaning of that song. Because of his great songs and good personality He will never be forgotten. We will surely miss him..

Hello dong1970! I got really shocked when I heard that Francis M passed away. I couldn't believe it. The last time I saw him was that he looks healthy. Who would have thought that one day we will know that we will no longer see him and hear him sing.
