How long do you usually spend in supermarket? I am a very quick person on this, I usually spend within half an hour in a supermarket (including waiting in the line and pay).

Well, I am not really a born shopper. I leave that to my wife. There are times when I go to the supermarket and just buy one or two items that I really need instantly. The longest time that I spent in the supermarket is around 15 minutes.

I spend as little time as possible in any store. I know what I want, I get it, then I check out. That keeps me from overspending or wasting my time.

Hello wondericequeen, At least one hour not including to wait in line and pay. I always have the list with me but still, whenever I am at the supermarket, I tend to go around, looking at those unnecessary stuff which are not in the list. That's the reason why...

Not sure how long do I usually stay at supermarkets but what I knew is that, ever time I go there I always have this list in my mind on what to buy. When I'm there I go straight to the business with no side lines along the way, just straight to what is needed then pweewww, I am out already. Half an hour I believe is too much for me but of course that doesn't include waiting in the line which I hated so much too. I always go to supermarkets at those time when there's not much shoppers at all and that always early in the morning or at the middle of the afternoon. It's far convenient when there's less people around.

hello wondericequeen How long do you usually spend in supermarket? well that depends on what that i plan on purchasing at the supermarket. if i go to stock up good on the groceries, then i guess i would be in the grocery store at least an hour, if not longer by the time that i check out and load the groceries into my car. sometimes, they have people that work at the grocery store that will help you out to your vehicle and sometimes they do not. if i run out of something like milk, bread, or whatever that i need, just a few items wise, then i guess that i would probably be in the grocery store around fifteen minutes or less, depending on the line of people at the check out aisle. usually when that i go stock up on the groceries is when that i will go down every aisle of the grocery store, in trying not to overlook anything that i might need. take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

I spend about 20-25 minutes in a grocery story, depending on how crowded it is. This is usually for a full cart of groceries. If I only need an item or 2 I can be in and out of the store in about 2-3 minutes, maybe less.

supermarket adventure - I love to shop in the local supermarkets, as it is a good way for me to enjoy shopping there.
Hello wondericequeen. I love to shop in a supermarket as there are so many things on those racks for me to choose from. I can stay for an hour or so if I am not in a hurry. I enjoy walking from one rack to another to find something that attracts me. Besides, it is cheap to buy stuff in a supermarket as I have discount cards in quite a few local supermarkets. I love shopping with my wife and friends. Have a good day.

Alas, now that we are retired this is not something we keep track of any more. We tend to shop at quite a few different stores, trying to get the best value for everything, so more time is spend on studying the prices than on the actual shopping, too. We don't like to wait in line!

Me too. Actually there is no need to spend that much time in supermarket for me. One reason is that supermarket is so close to where I live and I can just go there whenever I want. The other reason would be that we don't need to buy all the things for a whole week like some foreigners do. However I do go to the supermarket almost daily.

When i go to supermarket alone, it maybe takes about 20-30 minutes for me. I just take what i want to buy, and pay for it soon, because i don't like to stay at supermarket for a long time just to look around. But when i go with my mom, hmm.. It maybe takes about 2 hours or more. It usually happens in the beginning of the month, there are many stuffs have to be bought.
