Do you think pride is important?

Some people say it is important to give priority to your pride, some say it destroys your life. Which is it really? for you?

Hello! Pride damages your image and it may destroy your life even.So the foremost thing in our life is to control emotions and have control over the self,automatically the pride would vanish.Pride is in no way beneficial for a man.thanx.
