Summer has just started. If given the choice which do you prefer for summer hang out going to mountains for trekking or swimming at the beach? Personally I will choose swimming at the beach. I dont like trekking because it is too tiring. I want to share with you the place I have been last week. It is in Anawangin Island Cove in Pundaquit San Antonio Zambales.

Definitely the beach. I'm too lazy to go walking and more so climb a hill or a mountain. Although I sort of have a phobia of the sea because of the movie "Jaws" nevertheless going to the beach and enjoying the sun, sand and water is very relaxing.

this seems weird, having a phobia of the sea because of the movie "jaws", although there are sharks really at the sea but i guess they will not near the shore so still its safe to go

I don't want to go anywhere right now. I have just lost my job and I need to figure out how to make some money.

I would prefer hiking since I am not into beach thing or swimming. This is because I do not know how to swim and it is not good for my ears.

I love the beach and the water. I've been to the mountains but I haven't been to the beach very often at all... And when I'm there, it's as if I would like to be there for a long time. The mountains are peaceful, but too secluded... I love the city.

Well, I'll choose both.. I want to spend my summer vacation in the beach and in the mountain.. Every summer me and my friends were always going to the beach and we usually go for mountain climbing/trekking/follow a river.. We sometimes go to the waterfalls just to take a bath instead of going to beach.. It is really depends in our mood on where we want to go.. Of course, we can do all of those things this summer vacation.. It just depends on our budget and if our parents will allowed us..

I prefer to be in the beach this summer. Oh how I love the beach so much ever since my childhood days. One of the best beaches I visited are the beaches of Polilio Islands. We have been there last summer of 2003.

Hello my friend. Well, I like both, as long as I would not be climbing too much high in terms of hiking mountains because I am afraid of heights. I would just like the scenery from top views. I like also beaches but it depends on the weather I don't like too hot and of course not on the rainy days. You've been from you said Anawangin Island Cove in Zambales. Wow it must be a very beautiful place to go with for me..how I wish I could be there someday...Thanks...

Both of these sound like delightful choices! I live in Az so there is no beach and hiking the mountains in summer is deadly, because tempertures get up to over 100 degrees...but if I had to choose... I would choose hiking in the mountains. I love being outdoors and working out. A great place to hike in the summer is Zion National Park in Utah. The weather is nice in the summer and spring. They have some breathtaking views and a wide range of trails for begiiner and advanced hikers.

I would choose to go to the beach. I live just three miles from the sea and dogs love to run up and down the sand dunes. I enjoy feeling the soft ocean breeze and looking out to the islands off the coast and the headlands both sides. Swimming isn't possible because of the mud and the tide goes out ever such a long way. Tropical beaches are my favorite with palm trees and a coral reef nearby for snorkeling. I like to swim in the calm and crystal clear water that is comfortably warm. I enjoy seeing brightly colored fish and friendly sea creatures. I enjoyed trekking in New Zealand but right now I don't have the required energy. I have climbed three mountains in my lifetime. I would prefer to spend sometime on the beach I think.

That's a hard choice but if I had to choose I would choose the beach. My ideal day would be to do both and I have done that!

i prefer beach too. to stay beside water is fantastic. bathing in the sea or lying on the beach and walking along the shore , so relaxing. gazing at the immense sea carries away all my worries and blues.
