Well yesterday I told everyone here about the black snake my son saw in the field next door to my house. Today my son was walking to the store and a bunch of kids started yelling watch out for the snake. Well it was another black snake but in a whole different location. My son of course avoided the snake. I guess there is a black snake baby boom going on in my neighborhood. Do you have a lot of snakes near your house?

Where do you live Moneymommy?
Snakes my goodness I didn't know they are already out from hibernating.
I thought I was safe for at least 2 more months.
Last year I had one crawl up on the rafters of my little shed in my backyard. I have an area under my house where I store some of my outside things. I have been going under the house getting these things now I am afraid to go.
The temperature here is in the eighties today but we had snow on the ground last week.
Snakes eeeeeeeeeee.

I live way down in Texas and the temps are averaging around 80 everyday now. So I guess its time for them to come out from hiding.

Yes we do and they earn their keep by keeping the rodents down. They live and breed near out pond which is in our front yard, I love to watch the babies come out in the Spring, they are so beautiful in all their bright new colors. Some are no bigger than a small pencil. I don't know how many live out of a hatch. Of course these are nonpoisonous. We can't have poison snakes near the house.
