Are you close to your mother or father?

i love both my parents..but i'm closer to my mom, mostly because i think she understands me more and gives me more support in the things that i wanna do. we do almost everything together too

Im closer to my Dad,bikes i think i look to much like him,im pattern to him like physically and whith character olmost 70%. Maybe is that bikes im male,im not sure.i Love my Mom,i do everything for her but she is another Character for me,that sometimes dont anderstend...like family person that im, i will be there for them oll the time till are in this world live.

Well to be honest, both of my parents have passed away. However, growing up, my mom was always the one home with us but she was also very much the disciplinarian. She was very strict and too judgemental for my liking..My father was much more easy going and laid back. I identified more with my dad, however sadly, I was never as close to either as I would have liked to have been. Thinking I was all grown up at the age of 17, I left home and moved halfway across the country to live and never went back. I saw my parents maybe once a year at the most.

I am close to my mother.It was my mom who took the pain to bring me up and help me get established in my career.Without her guidance,I wont be able to attaint this position.My mom has worked like an anchor in my life.

It is said that a girl child is close to her father and a boy child is close to his mother.But it is not true in my case and I think that there are many friends like me who will also agree with me.My mother is my best friend and I make it a point to tell her each and every thing of my life.She takes every thing very positively and suggest me the best thing.

same here . I am also close to my mom than my dad. Dad is always averse to the decisions i make in my life. A mother always supports her son .

yea,i'm the same with you.I'm more close to my mom.Maybe i have spent so long time with my morther,my dad work all day long,but I really want to talk with him,he loves me very much.

Yup, same here myself am very close to my mom than dad, i don't know but she always care me more than my dad, whenever i go outside, guide me, ask me if you have everything right, when im sick, she take care more and my dad don't care, and these things make me to love her more a lot

I don't know I never really picked my favorite between the two of them. My dad was good at outside activities and manly stuff like playing sports and my mom was good at trying to cheer and encouraging me. I love them both just the same. Sadly my dad passed away last year and it's just my mom now.

Yes, so am I. I'm more close to my mom. When I was a child, i'd like sleep with my mom, talking with her before we sleep. i would say i am closer to my mom than to my dad..i did not grow up with them because they both worked abroad but now that i am a grown up lady, my mom and i became close though she's still in abroad working... we do chat everyday during our free time and talk everything under the sun..actually i am very excited that this coming april 14 she'll be coming home and finally she will attend my graduation day which from the past graduations i had attended, it was my grandma who did accompany me on stage..and now it is my mom who will accompany me..^^

I think your topic is interesting...In my family, I prefer to share my thoughts and opinions with my mother, but when we go out, I often cling to my father...And my dad and I often talk about history and politics

hey its a tricky question! i am actually close to both of them and really love them... but they when you ask about being closer, i would say my father.. not that i am not close to mom or less affectionate to her, but somehow since i was a child i am closer to my father, probably coz i longed for him when he was away at work and when at home kept me engaged with stories et al...

sorry ,i cannot believe anyone include my parents. well,i would respect them but i can`t trust .i don`t know why ,sometimes i feel lonely and homeless but i wouldn`t close to anyone.perhaps mutual trust just a dream for me .

Its not like that in my family...I am not close to either of them nor do I love or respect them...but its a two way street..

I am a lot closer to my father than I am my mother she is very judgmental and has condition on her love where as My father does not he loves me regardless of the mistakes I have made in my life I do miss my mother being in my life because she is my mother but she makes my life alot harder than what it has to be she bring alot of drama in my life and I do not like drama but my father is just great and I love him very much!~

same here i am very close to my mom and i share all things with my mom and i feel that she is not only my mother but also my friend with whom i can share everything and also have a word from her which can guide me in my decisions and help me out. i am also close to my father but there are a few things which i just cant share with him and the same can be done with my mom.

it's same. in most homes, mums are usually calm, and very understanding, while the dad's are always hard on implementing rules and stuffs like that. so the kids seems to be closer to their mum than their dad. but in some other homes, the reverse is the case. and the kids my do otherwise. When I was younger, I hardly talked to my father. But I told my mother everything. As for now, I tell them both about my opinions, my life, etc..Even sometimes, I make joke with my daddy. Actually, I don't know why I become close with my father. Maybe, every child has his stage being close to only one parent. But when you pass that stage, you will be close to both of them. As least, I am one of those children.
