Order Pending ??? !!! ???

CD Update! My order at the Croatian music store has been listend as "new" for a week, and is now updated to "pending" which means they're running my credit card information. I hope it doesn't sit in that Queue for another week. I WANT MY VICE VUKOV CD'S AND I WANT THEM NOW!!! (patience is not a virtue with which I was overly blessed) I hope my credit card behaves. I checked the card, and it has enough money on it (I use a pre-paid because I'd rather spend my own money than someone else's). The last time I ordered from them (differeent credit card) the bank SUSPENDED my account, because they thought someone took my card and went shopping in Zagreb Croatia. I had to call them and tell them that I went shopping in Zagreb...well on line, anyway. They took the hold off, and let me have my card back. Anyway, please keep your fingers crossed that they HURRY UP and get here. If the Croatian music store (croart.com) had a branch here in my hometown in Ontario, I could just walk across the street and pick up my CDs myself. Now, wouldn't that be nice? It's aggravating when a credit card company second guesses you. On the one hand, it slows down fraud and their liability, but is a reall pisser when they put a hold on the account or delay an approval. My one card worked just fine when I was in Russia, but they put a hold on my account when I bought an Air Canada ticket in Toronto. Fortunately, everything clears when I buy merchandise from Russia or Ukraine.

Yeah, and you bought that ticket for MEEEEE!!! Thank you. I don't understand why your card did that either. It's nuts. I like what Bank of America does. EVERY TIME my card is used, I get an eLert (e-mail alert) in my in-box telling me where it's been used, and for how much. A couple of times I have not recognized the transactions, and I dealt with them right away. B of A fixed it for me, with no hassle at all. I wish RBC had done that for me last time I ordered from Croatia, and I hope that BMO doesn't give me grief this time. I'm still waiting for the money to come off the card. I'm not using the card AT ALL until that stuff comes put. I'm using CA$H!!!!

Thank you. A good compromise would be if the credit card people would atleast call first, to verify. They did with my grandfather. First time. Did you spend $xxx at such-and-such a jewellery store? Him: Yes I did. Second Time Did you spend (huge amount of money) at these stores in Montreal? Him: No I didn't! They canceled it and sent him a new one. It was the SAME BANK who screwed me up. I don't get it! I think they did the right thing in his case.
