How do you feel when you see your local girls being with foreigners?

I know it's not right to judge, but I just can't help but ask how people feel about it? Here in my country, the Philippines, it's rampant that foreign guys come over because they 'met' our local girls online. They meet up, they have relationships, some do marry and etc. Anyhow, that's not what's bothering me. What's bothering me is the obvious sense that most of these 'local' girls are in it for the money. You could see that they're really not into these guys. I don't know if you from the Philippines notice it, but these are not the Tom Cruise looking guys you see. These are old men who lack exercise, and physically hmmm.. not really attractive but one thing in common - they have pensions and money. On the other hand, these girls are pretty young. Well, some aren't. But it's obvious in their ways that they are in it for the money. Anyhow, my question would be. What are your reaction to these phenomenon? What are your views? Of course we should butt in their personal life, but what's the world leading to when everything is in it for the money?

Well as what you have said, we cannot judge them about their intention. If it is because of love, then there is no bound for that. But since most Pinays go to older men because they might think this is their way of solving their financial problems, well, it is up to them and there is no government rules regarding this too. If you see a lot of women are doing it there now, then come to think about being practical these days by surviving specially if they don't have any work to do. Sad to say this is reality. Although it is sad to see the pretty obvious environment there when it comes to living in comfort, they would choose to do these things. I am a Filipina too, but i have a foreign husband. Although we meet in a very special way not because of chatting but because of software installation that i needed and to make a story short, we became friends. He is just the same age as mine and we are both working in a related company, he is into Customer handling and i am into Information Technology. I guess when you see us, you would not say the same thing like you pictured seeing a Pinay holding hands with a matured person, because we are not. Happy Mylotting!

That's great for you and your husband. It's just sad though that people are more practical and they'll do anything to alleviate themselves and their family from financial problems. It's just sad because it somehow shows us that love is not worth it since money is more important.

I also saw a lot of these things in China,i don't think much into it! Maybe they two really love each other, maybe they cheat, but they don't care then we don't need to care. Nowdays, money seems the most valueable thing in the world, evreything involves with money, friend ,even love!It is so sad.If one don't care for love, then what can we say to her?

First of all I get tensed when I see it. In the name of culture the country is being taught the wrong one in which the girls are the major victims.I think this thing should not happen. I am an Indian.I am in a country which is known for its culture.I cannot digest if the culture of my country goes wrong or being used in a wrong way... Thanks for posting Happy myloting
