My wife's urine has tested positive in home pregnancy test today and day before yesterday. But some spot bleeding form her vegina is still seen. Unfortunately, we forgot mentioning this abnormal bleeding while consulting the physician. I have read some pregnancy related sites to know about this.In our first issue this did not happen. Can you suggest me if there is any signficant risk foretold by this?

It would depend on a variety of factors, like for example how early on in the pregnancy she is. There have been people that I know, as well as myself who continue to spot during the early stages of pregnancy. With some, they continue on through out the pregnancy. Sometimes this is completely normal, with the increased amounts of hormones. To be sure it is always best to check with your OBGYN, however, until you can get there, she should take it as easy as she can, laying on her left side which increases oxygen flow to the baby. She should avoid lifting anything over 10 pounds, and get plenty of sleep. Take folic acid, and prenatal vitamins at this time as well. I would get to the OBGYN as soon as you can, though it is likely that it is nothing but an expression of the increase in hormones, it could be something that requires immediate care. Best of Luck!

I agree with proudmammabear! I also experienced light bleeding/spotting in the early stages of my pregnancy. She should take it easy and if it becomes dark red or more than a dime-to-quarter size a day she should go straight to the hospital and call the OB on the way. It's always better to be safe rather than sorry.

Some people continue to bleed while being pregnant and it is completely normal. I have had a few friends who continued to bleed off and on for months and everything was fine. Some however do have issues that need to be looked into. You may want to have her contact her doctor and let him/her know what is going on and they can determine further if she needs to be reseen.

There's something wrong with the womb why there is blood spotting. It is best to see her doctor to be sure and have the proper treatment to stop the bleeding. If more blood will be lost, the tendency is miscarriage.
