I had some pictures taken of my son. They are in both black and white and color prints. I enjoy both kinds. But I am finding that when it comes to my kids I have a special fondness for black and white photos. What about you?

Black and White photos can be good for some sorts of artistry. I think with childhood pictures, however, many of us have memories of our own childhood photos. These were in black and white.. thus, it may be a form of nostalgia to see our own children thusly photographed.

I love black and white photos they just have a way of making features stand out more and gives you a clean look. without all the fussiness of colors. I also like the ones that only have a small amount of color to them too.

I like both and I know where you are coming from with the black and whites. They are just unique and there is an element of innocence to them. I have several black and whites of my kids growing up that just wouldn't look the same in color. Sometimes black and white is better and you know this when you see the perfect print in black and white. You have good taste!

I like them both, but I think some poses just look better in black and white. You are going to share the pictures right?

Hi, ersmommy1! I think that I would rather have the colored pictures. I like to see the radiation on the picture. But, I do enjoy the black and whie photos of me when I was smaller. I took some with my mom. And I take that back! I do love black and white color prints, on my Ultrasound picures. This is when I love black and white photo prints.

It doesn't matter to me, as long as that is my child. He is the most precious treasure in my entire life. However it is black or white, or color photo. They are all look so great.

I like both, but like pictures of myself in black and white more than my kids'. They seem to make that extreme facial expression of Awe, soften out and it takes away from the total picture. My daughter always has some funky expression and only color can capture it to the fullest. I like black and white ones when they need to be softened down some.
