My husband always go to the mall with me anytime I wanted to go shopping. But if I am going shopping with my friends he will just drop me off and pick me up. Since my friends is not available and it was a boring day because it was snowing all day, I got up in the bed and told him "Baby I felt like I want to go shopping today" he smiled and replied "Oh you do, okay let's get ready" I know he is allergic being in the mall and I am in an opposite way. Now, he is starting to like it [ I think..hehe] So we both shopped around for shoes since he is planning to get another one and of course if he wants one I also want the same...lol But when I started shopping for clothes, he decided to just sit on the bench. I felt bad and just want to drag him home but he told me to take my time and look for what I wanted to buy. Until I found what I really wanted. I was happy because I was not in a rush and took my time without any worries even though my husband is just sitting on a bench alone while texting his brother. It made my day!! I got what I wanted Does your husband do that to you also? Or as a husband, do you do that to your wife? Thank you!!!

Wow this is so nice of your husband. My husband only goes shopping with me if we have a mission to buy say for example shoes or bag or something that is needed. Other than that I would go alone as I like to take my own sweet time to observe things and compare prices. But one place he definitely will go with me is when we do our monthly grocery. He'll be there to help me carry the stuff especially the big bag of 10kg rice. Tonight there is a night market which is very crowded and interesting so I have asked him to follow me go buy some veges. And he said yes. I like to go shopping with him a lot if only he will have some patience waiting for me to look at things and also at times compare prices but maybe I take too long a time that's why.

Thank you for the compliment!!! Where ever he goes, I go too! We both go for grocery shopping too..men are just impatient with stuff like that, but bring them in an electronics and hard wood store they would love to stay there as much as we like to stay in the mall.

jstmarfz, You are soo lucky! I think it's wonderful that your husband likes going to the mall with you. I, on the other hand, wouldn't dare take mine grocery shopping! I learned my lesson there. I go in with a budget and a list. I come out so frustrated, dissapointed, and angry with him that I just had to ask him not to come shopping with me anymore. My budget is blown out of the water and there are things in the cart that we did not need and things that were forgotten. The only place that we can go shopping, where everything works out nicely is a thrift store. Where can he go wrong when all he wears is jeans and t-shirts? He knows how to check out any appliances or electronics before he buys. We are both readers and we've picked up some really great novels. We have just about the same taste in reading,so we trade back and forth. We outfitted our children in all their clothes. The only time that we bought brand new clothes is for a special event or something for the holidays. He has never liked going to a mall. He claims that he gets claustraphobia. The only thing that gets claustraphobia is his waalet. He squeezes it so hard that it squeeks!. You hubby.....is definitely a keeper. DCMerkle

I can understand your feelings. My wife too wants me too accompany me while shopping.Since I have no patience and time,I will always deny her request. But once in a Sunday,I accompanied her to the vegetable market in the morning and I can see her enjoy my company.I feel nice to see my wife happy that way. So,now I accompany her to the market whenever possible. After all she is my wife and I like to see her get happy.Cheers!

When it comes to shopping, oh nooh, that's the one i can hear from him and he just wanted to drag me away from the mall,. I know it is so frustrating not to get what you want to buy because your significant other is blocking your way to what you want. So i do enjoy shopping ALONE, and that is without him bugging me to go home or in a hurry. I know men are different from each other. I accept that this is him and i am different in terms of shopping, this is not his cup of tea, he just goes along well when we do grocery and marketing. But about shopping stuffs, clothes, girly stuffs like makeup and all, ohh, count him out. I would rather get a dog to accompany me to shop rather than him.

He made your day and that is fabulous. I think he had a right mood for the day which is pretty good for both of you. Sometimes its good to be with your partner when doing shopping, it's like spending quality time together. That's very awesome!

my husband just like other guys, does not like going to the mall and go shopping but when i ask him to come with me, he always does and he gives me time to choose what i like, with that i can also ask him if something i have chosen looks good on me. But if its time for my husband to buy his own, he just buys the first thing that he sees unlike as women.. but i appreciate him for bearing with me!
