I love to work with plastic canvas, but I see some lovely cross stitch pieces that I would love to convert to plastic canvas. How would I do that? DCMerkle

treat it just the way it is, count the canvas like you would the aida cloth and only do one way (unless the yarn/floss isn't heavy enough to cover without making full crosses)

Elic, Thanks, I thought that it could be that easy, but I know that there are stitches that don't convert because it might be a half stitch. Maybe I should just go for it and see what happens. DCMerkle

no, no half stitches, but you can do back stitch and that covers a multitude of sins of no half stitches

Elic, Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. DCMerkle
